Honesdale/Poconos KOA 2014-2015 Safe Camping Guidelines
Bikes & Speed – All bikers 12 and under must ride with helmets on campground roads. Campground roads are always 5 miles per hour. Quiet Time is between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am every day. On holiday weekends, quiet time begins at 11:00 pm. Everyone should be at their campsites, with an adult, at this time. Call 570-253-0424 for problems and 911 for emergencies. Campfires – Please do not leave fires unattended and do not damage or cut campground trees. All wood must be purchased in Pennsylvania. Tree problems can be reported to the office. Pets – All pets must be kept on a leash and cleaned up after on sites and while walking. Small children are not allowed to walk dogs. Dog walking is not permissible in any public areas. No exotic pets or aggressive dogs. Pool – All pool rules must be followed and children under 14 must be accompanied by their parent/guardian. (Sorry, no smoking in pool or public areas.) Visitors are those that are not in your immediate family and are visiting during your stay. All visitors must check in at the office, obtain a car pass and pay for each person in their vehicle. Visitor hours are from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. You are responsible for the actions and behaviors of your visitors.
Campsites – Please do not cut through other campsites. Place all trash in the dumpster or recycle bins found halfway down the exit on the right in the fenced area. Honesdale/Poconos KOA assumes no responsibility for loss by fire, theft, accident or injury to persons or their property. Anyone not following these campground guidelines will be asked to leave immediately. If your stay is terminated early by Honesdale/Poconos KOA or by choice due to other reasons, there will be no refund made for time not used. No profanity or fighting. Alcohol is not allowed off of your site. If the police are called on behalf of you/your party/your visitors, you will be asked to leave Honesdale/Poconos KOA. Children – Please read and remind your children of the above guidelines. Any child causing a disruption will be asked to return to their site for a 15 minute break to get a cold drink and take a breath before coming back out to have fun! Fun – You must have fun and make great memories while you camp at Honesdale/Poconos KOA and we hope you will come back and join us again with your friends.
