RESORT POLICIES
POLICIES
• Quiet hours are from 11 pm – 7 am, and are enforced by our staff and local police. To report anyone not abiding by our quiet hours please call the Resort Office at 252-354-2250 during our scheduled business hours, or call the non-emergency after hours phone number as listed on the Emerald Isle RV Resort app.
• Please respect the privacy of other guests. Do not walk through or allow your pet(s) to walk through occupied campsites. Park your car(s) and /or golf cart on your campsite or in a designated area. Your account will be charged $50 for any car or golf cart parked incorrectly.
• Parents are responsible for the safety and actions of their children.
• The speed limit on resort property is 5 mph.
• Please do not ride skateboards, bicycles, scooters, hoverboards, or one-wheels after dark.
• Underage drinking is prohibited in the resort and on the beach.
• Washing of RVs, vehicles and/or boats inside the resort is prohibited.
• Fireworks and firearms are prohibited on resort property.
• No public display of alcohol.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIMES
• Check-in time is 2:00 pm. Check-out time is 12:00 pm.
• A two-hour early check-in and/or two-hour late check-out for your reservation may be available, each for an additional fee. If interested in either option, contact the management office in advance of your arrival to inquire about availability.
CAMPSITE RULES
• Please be considerate and leave your campsite the way you found it so the next group of guests can enjoy a nice, clean site upon their arrival.
• A maximum of [2] vehicles are allowed per site. Some sites may only accommodate [1] vehicle. We have a small paid overflow lot for trailers and vehicles which must be registered and paid for at the office to avoid being towed at owner’s expense. All vehicles in the lot must have a valid PAID PARKING pass displayed in the windshield at all times. Parking at the front office is PROHIBITED and violators will be towed at owner’s expense. Do not park in the street or on neighboring sites.
• Gas hot water heaters ONLY. Electric hot water heaters are PROHIBITED.
• You may have a light-weight, breathable RV mat on your campsite. Multiple RV mats and heavy, non-breathable rugs are PROHIBITED.
• You are required to use either a Rubber Sewer Ring/Sponge or an Angled Sewer Adaptor for your sewer hookup.
• Fully contained fire pits are allowed, but must sit at least 6” off the ground.
• Only use RV toilet tissue – available for purchase in the Resort Office. Do not flush “flushable” wipes even if they say they are biodegradable.
• Only the following flags can be displayed at your site and throughout the campground/resort: American, Canadian, Military: Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, POW, MIA, and veterans, sports teams, and decorative flags such as holiday, seasonal, or garden.
• Entrance onto resort property constitutes permission for the Emerald Isle RV Resort to photograph and/or video any and all guest(s) and to use any resulting media for any lawful purpose without compensation to guest(s).
VISITOR POLICY
• There is no charge for visitors staying less than 2 hours. In order to obtain a visitor pass, a credit card or license must be left in our resort office. When the pass is returned, the credit card or license will be returned. If any visitors stay over 2 hours, there is a $10 per person per day charge.
• The Emerald Isle RV Resort is private property. Entrance to the resort is not allowed without official check-in at the Resort Office. If you have visitors that have not paid to enter the resort, your account will be charged $100 per person that was not registered.
• All visitors must respect and obey Emerald Isle RV Resort rules and policies. It’s your responsibility to inform any and all visitor(s) of our rules and policies.
GOLF CART RULES
• All golf carts must have a valid parking pass in order to enter the resort and park on the premises. If you bring your own golf cart, we require a copy of your certificate of liability insurance before issuing you a golf cart pass.
• Electric golf carts only are allowed on resort property.
• Golf cart drivers must have a valid driver’s license. Operating a golf cart while intoxicated is prohibited. Operators under the influence are subject to a $250 fee.
• Driving golf carts after midnight is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
TRASH & GARBAGE DISPOSAL
• Please leave your trash beside the road at your campsite for our road-side pickup. Trash will be collected daily, typically around 9:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 4:30 pm. Only properly bagged trash will be picked up. Do not leave trash outside after 4:00 pm!
• We are not responsible for disposing of anything other than common RV and campsite garbage. We will NOT pick up couches, mattresses, tables and chairs, grills, umbrellas, tent and canopy frames, paint cans, appliances (large or small), bicycles, etc. Dispose of these items at the county dump: Solid Waste & Recycling, Highway 58/West Fire Tower Road, Peletier, NC 28584.There is a $50 fine for any prohibited items that are left on a campsite.
• Resort Office hours are posted on the Emerald Isle RV app and on Google.
POOL RULES
• Pool hours vary depending on the time of year and are posted on the pool gates and on our phone app.
• Swim at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. Parents are responsible for the safety and actions of their children. If your child has to use the bathroom, do not wait! If an accident happens in the pool, it will be shut down for cleaning and will ruin everyone’s fun. The Pool Bathhouse is unlocked during Pool Hours.
• No pets allowed in the pool area. Glass is prohibited inside the pool area, and smoking and vaping are prohibited in the pool area.

CANCELLATION POLICY
• RV campsites: For stays 1 to 27 days, we allow full refunds for cancellations up to 2 days prior to your arrival date.
• Rental accommodations: For stays 1 to 27 days, we allow full refunds for cancellations 7 days prior to your arrival date.
• Long-term or seasonal stays: For stays 28 days to 184 days at an RV campsite or in a rental accommodation, if you cancel or change your reservation up to and including 45 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, we will issue a refund for the amounts paid by you. If you cancel your reservation and provide less than the required 45 days’ notice, you will forfeit your deposit amount.
• Annual stays: Due to the strong demand for our extended-stay reservations (lasting 185 days or more) and the limited site availability at many of our campgrounds and resorts, we recommend securing an extended-stay site by placing a site holding deposit. This deposit can be made at your convenience and consists of a $150 site holding fee, which is fully refundable under the following terms and conditions. Should an Agreement for Use of RV Site for your extended stay not be fully executed within seven (7) business days (excluding weekends and federal holidays) following our receipt of your $150 site holding deposit, or within any additional time needed between the parties to finalize the Agreement, then the site holding deposit ($150) is fully refundable to your original form of payment. Once we issue your refund, it may take an additional 7-10 days for your financial institution to make funds available in your account.

Please contact us at (855) 336-8892 if you have not signed an Agreement for Use of RV Site or received a refund within that time frame. Please note that the $150 site holding deposit secures a site at your selected campground or resort, but does not secure a specific site. A manager or other employee working at that campground or resort should reach out to you after you make the $150 site holding deposit to discuss site location and the execution of an Agreement for Use of RV Site. In order to sign an Agreement for Use of RV Site allowing an extended stay at a campground or resort, you must meet residency requirements for seasonal or annual stays. If you become an annual guest pursuant to an executed Agreement for Use of RV Site, the $150 site holding deposit will then be applied to either the administrative fee (if applicable), or will be credited towards the annual site payment. Advertised rates do not include taxes and fees. Electricity is not included for stays of 30 days or longer. Usage of any seasonal or annual site may be limited to dates that the campground or resort is open. While, if you become a seasonal or annual guest pursuant to an Agreement for Use of RV Site, you may leave your RV on the site year-round, there are restrictions that limit the amount of time you may occupy your RV on the site that vary by campground and resort. Open dates and length of stay vary by campground and resort. Must be a current Thousand Trails member or purchase a Camping Pass membership in connection with seasonal or annual stays at Thousand Trails campground. Amenities vary by campground and resort.
