CHEYENNE RV RESOURT RULES
GENERAL RULES
• Smoking or vaping in any of the facilities, restrooms or showers is strictly prohibited!
• Quiet Hours are 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. If leaving early in the am, please be considerate of others.
• No use of generators in the main park area. Guests may use generators in the dry camping areas in the field across from the dog park outside Quiet hours (8:00 am to 10:00 pm).
• No Fireworks or Firearms permitted on the grounds.
• The person named on the reservation is deemed responsible for the actions and conduct of their party as well as responsible for any children and special needs family in their care.
• The safety of all guests, especially children, is our main concern. It is your responsiblity to monitor your children and special needs family members for their safety.
• No one under 18 years of age is allowed to camp unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children are not to be left unattended in the park.
• Rude or aggressive behavior towards staff or other campers will not be tolerated.
• Mistreatment of park wildlife, willful or careless damage to park property, trees, etc. will not be tolerated.
• Please keep all belongings, valuables and coolers safely stored. While we are not responsible for lost or damaged items, we do not tolerate stealing from other campers.
• Do not enter another campsite without the current camper’s permission.
• Tents are NOT allowed in RV sites, only in designated tent sites.
• Pool hours are 10:00 am to 8:00 pm (open end of May to end of September).
• There is no lifeguard on duty. All children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
• Appropriate swimwear and swim diapers are required while in the pool.
• No pets, no smoking, and no glass containers allowed in or around the pool area. THE WASHING OF YOUR RV OR VEHICLES IN THE CAMPGROUND IS PROHIBITED. GUESTS VIOLATING THIS POLICY WILL BE CHARGED A $40 FEE. YOU MAY ALSO BE EVICTED WITH NO REFUNDS.
SITE RULES
• Please keep your site clean and tidy at all times. Only grills are permitted to be left outside.
• Please remove all garbage from your site and place it in the dumpster.
• Please do not place BBQs on picnic tables as they may burn the tabletop.
• Campfires are only allowed at designated sites, NOT RV sites. We do offer propane firepits to be rented.
• Firewood is available in the office. All fires must be contained in the firepits provided.
• Do not leave firepits unattended! Do not place garbage in the fire pits! DUE TO THE NATURE OF WYOMING’S HIGH WINDS, ALL PERSONAL BELONGINGS MUST BE SAFELY SECURED!
PET POLICY
• Pets must be registered with the office. Your pet is YOUR responsibility.
• Pets are not to be left unattended, outside campsites and are not allowed to roam around the campground at night. They must always be on a leash, except when inside the dog park.
• Aggressive dogs are not allowed in the dog park. If your dog becomes accressive with other campers or pets, we will ask that you and your pet leave the premises with no refund.
• Pets are not allowed in rsstrooms or showers at any time.
• Service animals are allowed everywhere, at all times. All accommodations are open to people with service animals. There is no pet fee. Service animals are defined as an animal that has been individually trained to perform tasks for a person with a disability. Emotional support animals are not service animals per RJourney pet policies. If there is additional cleaning or damage caused by the animal, the owners will be charged accordingly. YOU MUST PICK UP YOUR PET’S WASTE AND PROPERLY DISPOSE OF IT IN DESIGNATED AREAS! A CLEANING FEE OF $25 WILL BE APPLIED IF STAFF HAS TO CLEAN UP AFTER YOU OR YOUR PETS! ANY VIOLATION OF THE PET POLICY WILL RESULT IN ADDITIONAL CLEANING FEES AND ANY OTHER FEES DEEMED ACCEPTABLE BY MANAGEMENT. FURTHER VIOLATIONAS WILL RESULT IN EVICTION!
CAMPGROUND RULES
We want everyone’s stay in the family campground to be enjoyable. Please respect the rules and be courteous to other campers.
OUR CAMPGROUND IS NOT AN ASHTRAY! PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE CIGARETTES OR CIGARS ON THE GROUND!
CHECK-IN AND CHECK0UT:
• Check-in time for all sites is 2:00 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 am.
• Early check-in and late check-out is an additional $15 fee. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• No refunds on early departure of paid days.
• A $20 cancellation fee will apply on all nightly bookings. Long term and monthly reservations will not receive a refund of their monthly rent. Must receive cancellation notice prior to 7 days for nightly stays and 30 days for monthly stays to receive any kind of reund.
AFTER HOURS DEPARTURE:
• Please leave your site clean. We will charge a cleaning fee to your card if it is left a mess.
• No need to check in with the office unless you are departing earlier than scheduled.
• Cabin departure: please leave the key on the desk inside the cabin or in the overnight drop box inside the red reservation box to the right of the office front door.
SPEED LIMIT AND PARKING:
• Speed limit of 5 mph is strictly enforced. If caught speeding, you may be evicted with no refund.
• A maximum of 2 vehicles is permitted at each site if space allows. Additional vehicles must park in the overflow parking area by the playground. We do not charge for overflow parking unless you stay longer than a few days, then the fee is $50 a month per vehicle.
• All visitors must park in overflow parking. No parking on roadways or grass. These rules are subject to change at the site manager’s discretion. Service Interruptions: there may be interruptions in water, electrical services, and Wi-Fi. Such problems will be corrected as quickly as possible. There will be no adjustments to rental fees because of these interruptions. All guests enter the campground at their own risk. RJourney does not accept any responsiblity for injury, death, or damages while on grounds or using facilities. RJourney is also not responsible for damages or loss of personal property brought into the campground.
THE STEALING OF PERSONAL PROPERTY FROM RJOURNEY OR OTHER CAMPERS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED! IF YOU DETECT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY, PLEASE NOTIFY STAFF IMMEDIATELY! CRIMINAL CHARGES CAN AND WILL BE PURSUED! IF CAUGHT, YOU WILL BE EVICTED FROM THE PARK!
MANAGEMENT AND RJOURNEY STAFF HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICES TO ANYONE AT THEIR OWN DISCRETION.
VIOLATION OF THESE PARK RULES WILL RESULT IN ADDITIONAL CHARGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO EVICTION FROM OUR PARK AND A RECORD PLACED WITH RJOURNEY TO NOT RENT TO YOU AGAIN! FOR EMERGENCIES:
• Our tornado shelter is located right behind the manager’s residence. It is a small white concrete shed. All restrooms by and in the office can be used as well.
• You have the right to call 911 on to the premises if anyone is in need of medical assistance. You also have the right to contact police on to the premises if you or anyone feels unsafe due to suspicious or dangerous activities. If you do contact emergency services, please call (307) 640-5484 after calliing 911 to let management know.
MONTHLY RULES
In lieu of our campground rules, please respect these rules and be courteous to others. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT: The rules for check-in and check-out are the same as nightly iwth a few exceptions:
• Early check-in and late check-out fees still apply. No refunds for early departure. All paid deposits are applied to last month’s electric and water/sewage fees before it is refunded to you.
• Please notify the office 30 days prior to the end of your stay if you plan on stying or leaving your site, otherwise you will be charged another month’s rent.
• We get lots of reservations daily. In order to prevent your spot from getting sold out from under you while you say with us, please check with the office to make sure your site is properly booked for the time you anticipate!
MAIL AND PACKAGES:
• You must get a P.O. Box, or have an alternative address for your regular mail and packages. We have too many issues with people not picking up their mail.
• If for any reason you are unable to get a P.O. Box, please talk to management about alternatives.
• Occasional mail and packages are ok to have shipped here, but it must be picked up regularly!
• All mail will be placed outside in the top drawer sorted alphabetically by last name and packages will be placed in the chest next to the drawers. At this time, there are not codes for mail or packages.
WINTERIZATION: Winterizing your camper is required from October to May every year. Please follow the following rules to ensure you do not freeze up or have any problems in our park.
• All RVs are required to have a heated hose during winter months. You are welcome to make your own or you can buy one. We do sell hoses in the office but not heated hoses or the materials to make your own.
• If you choose to skirt your RV, it must be with high grade material or vinyl. Tarps are not allowed! Your skiritng must match your RV! We do have business cards in the office if you need suggestions.
• Do not leave your black tanks open! This will promote freezing in your tanks! Even if your tanks are enclosed, they must remain shut to prevent a pyramid effect in your black tent! RJourney is not liable for damages to your RV! Plus, no one wants to smell your tanks!
• All outdoor water spickets by the tent sites and pavilion are shut off during winter months to prevent freezing. Washing your dishes in the sinks or bathrooms as well as washing pets in the showers are not permitted! Please keep extra water stored at your site for such activities. Violation of this rule will result in additional cleaning fees.
PET POLICY: Our pet policy remains the same for everyone. Please follow our rules to ensure a safe, clean space for everyone. ANY VIOLATION OF THE PET POLICY WILL RESULT IN REQUIRING US TO CHARGE A PET DEPOSIT AND ANY OTHER FEES DEEMED ACCEPTABLE BY MANAGEMENT. FURTHER VIOLATIONS WILL RESULT IN EVICTION!
CHEYENNE FRONTIER DAYS:
• Everyone is required to move during this time every year. This event occurs usually at the end of July. Please see Cheyenne Frontier Days website for info on dates and times.
• We will accommodate for folks to stay in our sister site in Pine Bluffs while this event goes on. This isn’t just an RJourney rule, this is an event that affects all campgrounds and hotels in Cheyenne.
• Please communicate with the office regarding your stay with us during this time as we do get very full in this campground around this time of year.
VIOLATION OF THESE PARK RULES WILL RESULT IN ADDITIONAL CHARGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO EVICTION FROM OUR PARK AND A RECORD PLACED WITH RJOURNEY TO NOT RENT TO YOU AGAIN!
