RAINBOW’S END is the home of the Escapees Mail Service. Meet for the office tour at the headquarters lobby on Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30 am. This is the normal schedule but it may change with the seasons.

To Assist You in Making Your Stay More Pleasant, Please Take the Time to Read the Following Information:
Office: The office is open from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Closed one hour for lunch.
Check-Out time is 12:00 pm. Make arrangements with the office before 10:00 am if you are unable to leave by this time. If you are planning to leave early in the morning, please pay during the previous afternoon.
Pets: ALL pets (cats included) must be on a leash at all times. AN ELECTRONIC LEASH IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Owners must clean up after their pets. Please do not leave pets unattended outside or leave pet food outside. Please do not allow dogs to bark excessively. Pets are not allowed in any of the park buildings. The ONLY place that a leash is not required is in the Dog Run. No aggressive dogs are allowed in the Dog Run. To avoid injury to others, do not attach clotheslines, dog leashes or any other allpurpose lines to anything other than your own rig. We ask that all pets are current on their core vaccinations.
Friendly/Social Hour: Mon. - Sat. at 4:00 pm and Sun. at 6:30 pm, a time for socializing, greeting new arrivals and announcements. In the Winter it will be held at the Activity Center (AC); in Summer, at the Clubhouse (CH).
Incoming Mail: is to be sent to local post office: c/o your name, General Delivery, Livingston, TX 77351.
Outgoing Mail: Pre-stamped outgoing mail may be taken to Escapees National Headquarters (HQ). A box is located next to the front door. Members with Escapees mail service may pick up mail at mail window at Escapees National Headquarters (HQ).
Telephone and Phone Messages: Emergency messages will be delivered to your RV. Other messages will be posted on message board outside the office. Telephones are available at Activity Center (AC).
Good Neighbor Policy: Please do not infringe on others by parking your vehicles on or walking through another site.
Quiet Time: 10:00 pm to 7:30 am.
Generator Hours: Are to be used ONLY between the hours of 7:30 am - 9:00 am, 11:30 am to 12:30 pm and 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Trash: Help us keep our costs down. MASH YOUR TRASH! Collapse milk jugs, cardboard boxes, etc. Newspapers are not recycled. Emergency: Call 911 from a cell phone for fire, police, or medical emergencies. If you are unable to leave your rig, honk your horn and turn on your lights.
Laundry: There are two laundries at Rainbow’s End. One is located on the east end of the Manager’s Office (MO); the other is located in the south campground, South Laundry Building (SL)— both are open 24 hours. The office has quarters.
Wi-Fi Internet: LivCom Wi-Fi available throughout the park can be purchased from your computer. It is also available inside the email and laundry rooms in the Manager’s Office (MO). For billing or technical assistance, please contact LivCom’s support line at 936327-4309.
Sewer Connections: Must be threaded connectors or rubber donut.
VEHICLES: Each full-hook up is limited to no more than 3 vehicles at any one time, including among other things; truck, van, bus, motor home, travel trailer, automobile, boat, detached camper shell. ALL TOWED TRAILERS AND FIFTH WHEELS: Must have a vehicle on site capable of towing said unit out of the park throughout the rental period.
Children: Age 15 or younger must be supervised by a parent or guardian whenever they utilize the buildings or attend activities in the park. Children Age 15 or younger must be supervised by a parent or guardian whenever they use the swimming pool, billiard tables or park computer access.
Seasonal Swimming Pool: Hours are 10:00 am to dusk. Rules posted at the pool. All swimming is “AT YOUR OWN RISK.” Children Age 15 or younger must be supervised by a parent or guardian. NO GUM, GLASS or FOOD permitted in the swimming pool or swimming area. No pets in the swimming area. Non-swimming children MUST HAVE COAST GUARD APPROVED flotation devices, or be continuously held by custodial parent while in pool. No plastic water wings or blow up rings are allowed. BABIES and TODDLERS must wear swimmer diapers to be in the pool.
Oil Changes: Ask at Manager’s Office (MO) for disposal locations. Weather Information: In the case of impending tornado alert, take shelter in the restrooms at the laundry building. Avoid largespan roofed areas like the Clubhouse (CH) or Activity Center (AC). Rainbow’s End is located in Polk County. Walker County is to the WEST, Liberty County is to the SOUTH; Tyler County is to the EAST; and, Trinity County is to the NORTH.
Activities: The book and video library are available in the Clubhouse (CH). TV and DVD are available in the Clubhouse (CH); the TV is connected to cable service. Paperbacks may be traded; please return all hardback books before you depart.
Aluminum Cans: Place aluminum cans in containers at the South Laundry (SL).
Escapees Mail: Escapees Mail Service Members may pick up mail at the window near the loading dock at the Headquarters Building (HQ) from 8:00 to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
Packages: To receive a package from UPS or FedEx please use park’s address and your site number as your shipping address. Check with Manager’s Office (MO) for details.
No Smoking Please: In any of the Park buildings.
No Wood Fires: Please use propane fire pits only.
Chemicals: Please do not use chemicals (formaldehyde, phosphorous, bleach, disinfectants, or detergents that contain bleach) during your stay at Rainbow’s End, as it will harm our septic system.
Bargain Table: Operated by the Park Manager. If you find an item you wish to purchase, pay whatever you think it’s worth. A donation box is located on the table. Any useful item is welcome.
Volunteers: Always needed! Volunteering is fun and a great way to meet other people. Park beautification, activities, etc. Check with Park Manager.
