A Year Behind the Mic: The Inside Scoop on the SouthCoast In September 2025, One SouthCoast Chamber ventured into new territory with the launch of the One SouthCoast Chamber Podcast channel. We wanted to create another way to connect with our communities by sharing stories that bring attention to the people, businesses, and issues shaping our region. A few months later, in December, SouthCoast Scoop was born, and what a ride it’s been since! My co-host, Katie Greene, Vice President of Marketing and Events, and I take a lighthearted look at what’s happening across the South Coast. From festivals and farmers markets to community celebrations and hidden gems, we give listeners a rundown of things to see, do, and experience in our own backyard. The Scoop began as a monthly conversation about upcoming events and quickly grew into something much more. We’ve taken our microphones on the road, visited local businesses and events, sampled some of the region’s hottest food items, and, of course, met some really fantastic people along the way. Our Road Show and Inside Scoop Editions have been especially fun, giving us an opportunity to get out into the communities we serve and experience firsthand what makes this region so special. If you’ve listened to the 4

nesses they didn’t know existed. We are excited about opportunities like this to expand the Chamber’s reach and try new approaches to engaging our members and communities. The way people consume information has changed, and we need to be willing to change with it.
