Jim Self: A Course in Mastering Alchemy
For more than four decades the book and self-study program A Course in Miracles have been regarded by countless spiritual seekers as a beloved New Age Bible, offering a roadmap to human transformation. Now, a new book was
Omtimes.com
published that is being likened to A Course in Miracles for the 21st Century. It’s claimed to reach far beyond that earlier system by incorporating a significant leap in human consciousness that has been occurring since the 1980s and all with the active participation of a group of beings collectively know as The Teachers of Light. This book is called A Course in Mastering Alchemy: Tools to Shift, Transform and Descend. And with me, today to share how it is like and unlike A Course in Miracles and what it promises to help you achieve in your life is an international teacher, author, speaker and founder of Mastering Alchemy Jim Self. Sandie Sedgbeer: Jim Self, you’ve been leading seminars and teaching healing clairvoyance, personal imaging management courses for more than 30 years. Since its creation in 2001, thousands of people have used Mastering Alchemy to transform their lives. And now for the first time, you’ve condensed much of that information into a book which offers open access to
huge chunks of consciousnessaltering personal energy tools and lessons. Why would you do that? Why would you give away many of the secrets of Mastering Alchemy for a fraction of the price of your course? Jim Self: Because they told us to - simple answer. You know, when we started, and I began all of this, in the conversations with the archangelic way back in the early 2003 period time basically, one of the things Uriel said to me if you’re going to be the scribe. At the time he said that my body just kind of tensed up and was like, wait, no, you don’t understand, I don’t write things. So, you know, and I could feel him smile and kind of laugh, and we went on. The program has been so successful regarding both giving people opportunities to basically recognize themselves change the scripting that they’ve been given by mom, dad, teacher, minister and the structure of the third dimension and begin to see how they can observe the world that they’re engaged in. Meridian Therapy:
The Traditional Chinese Medicine that detoxifies the body Massage Therapy not only treats those parts of you, which are a problem but also affects the whole of your metabolism through normalizing your circulatory, muscular and nervous systems and their interdependent functioning. Massage is usually done with soothing massage oils or relaxing body lotions for the practitioner’s hands to “glide” over the body with smooth, relaxing strokes. Technique: Massage for emotional stress can help clear lactic acid and improve circulation. With a crystal wand or tumblestone (use one of the stones above) try gently tapping along the meridians or massaging affected areas in small gentle clockwise circles.

Hot Stone Massage Therapy is recommended for emotional stress. It is an ancient Ayurvedic therapy with riverbed stones, which draw out stress, tension, and impurities from the body. Meridian Therapy: Traditional Chinese Medicine detoxifies the body system through the organs, primarily: The Lung and Large Intestine Meridian In TCM, the lungs are an organ system that opens directly to the exterior. Its function is to regulate and control the breath through inhalation and exhalation. Because of its opening through the nose, the lungs are readily susceptible to cold, heat, dryness, dampness, and most of all, heat and wind. This can affect the biggest organ of the body; the skin. The lung’s relationship with the large intestine is what we take in, we must use and let go of. The lung is closely related to the San Jiao channel. San Jiao Meridian The San Jiao is a traditional Chinese medical (TCM) concept of a functional organ that is not found outside of TCM). However,
from the meaning of the original word, which is the texture beneath the skin and between muscles, there has been some proposed theories stating that this conceptual organ corresponds to the lymphatic system. San Jiao has been translated as “triple heater,” triple warmer (or three warmers),” and “triple burner,” the latter of which is probably favored because of the involvement of the San Jiao in metabolism (burner meaning “metabolize”). Use red stones such as ruby, garnet, fire agate or Jasper on the top of the arm, two finger breathes above the wrist and on the middle of the shoulder bladders at SJ 11. Emotional Cleanse Clear these meridians by creating a grid with crystals, herbs or salt. Your grid can be a meditation circle you create with other tools such as candles or incense. An easy way to do this is to use any one of these tools (or a combination of a few) and make a circle on the floor. Now lay in the circle to create a private and sacred space to relax in, do meditation in or just a place to feel safe. Focus on the energy around our heart and your mind or mind’s eye (Third Eye). The Spiritual Significance of Lent By Cathedral of the Soul
Lent is the time for trimming the soul and scrapping the sludge off a life turned slipshod. Lent is about taking stock of time, even religious

time. Lent is about exercising the control that enables us to say no to ourselves so that when life turns hard of its own accord, we have the stamina to yes to its twists and turns with faith and hope. Lent is the time to make new efforts to be what we say we want to be. Joan D. Chittister Lent is a period instituted by the Catholic Christian Church that begins on Ash Wednesday and extends until Easter. For those of Christian faith, it represents a period of spiritual reflection and purification. Lent is the time of introspection, vigilance, confrontation with our fears, limiting beliefs and fears so that we can transmute them. Lent is also the time that the Spiritual Plan allows spirits that have not yet reached evolution to be closer to Earth’s orbit. So, watch your thoughts and do not get caught up in the
depressive egregore and or problems that some people project onto others these days. For 40 days, Jesus fasted and alone also confronted his lower self and his ego. In the Bible, it is written that in this period when Jesus was alone fasting, the “devil” introduced himself and said: “If you are the Son of God, turn these stones into bread.” We understand that the personification of the devil only persists for those who believe in the limit of the ego. With this explanation, it is possible to understand that we have several energies in our minds and that the rational mind is ruled by the power of the ego. We are also influenced by the power of our various selves: the rational, the unconscious, the subconscious, and of our mind above, the higher Self or conscious mind.

The Spirit of Synchronicity By John Holland
Let me start by asking you all one important question, namely: “Is your soul trying to get your attention? Synchronicities and socalled coincidences are clear signs that the Divine Source is knocking on your door. Omtimes.com
Sometimes it could be a soft tap, or for those times when you’re not paying attention, it could be a loud bang! A source working through synchronicity can manifest itself in some pretty unique ways. I have my own definition and refer to them as my divine nudges. Have you heard the same phrase or saying from more than one person in a day? Do the same numbers keep showing up in your life? Has someone mentioned the same person you were just thinking of? Have you met someone out of the blue which seemed to answer a question that you were just pondering? These are all just signs for you to pause, be open, and pay attention but most importantly, to acknowledge that the source is sending you a message. I heard a story once about a man who was having a hard time about switching careers and it was clearly causing him a lot of stress with all the unanswered questions. He was offered a new job and wasn’t sure if he
wanted to leave the security of his existing job where he’d worked for years. One day as he was driving to work and in a state of indecisiveness, he found himself asking himself the questions that we all might often ask at some point in time: “Should I take the new job?” “Will I be happy?” “Am I doing the right thing?” At that precise moment as he was churning the questions over and over, he looked up and saw a bus drive by and for some reason, he read the billboard on the side of the bus. It was a Nike advertisement with the slogan: “Just Do It!” These are not just coincidences! I don’t believe there are accidents in this intelligent universe. It’s times like these that you should ask yourself: “What am I suppose to be learning or doing right now?” I feel when these synchronistic events happen, it’s the inner-workings of your soul showing up in your outside physical world. This year, try to be more aware of when synchronicity is trying to get your attention. Omtimes.com
Feng Shui and Intuition by Kartar Diamond
A frequent question asked of Feng Shui consultants is whether or not they are also psychic. Some people assume that a Feng Shui expert visits a property and immediately
Omtimes.com
feels or senses what is wrong with the energy of the space. While a small percentage of the analysis may rely on intuition, the majority of the evaluation can be based on time-tested calculations and tangible observations. As an example, you do not have to be psychic to surmise that an occupant will be depressed if their home is dark, dingy, and massively cluttered. Nor do you have to be psychic to know that if a house sits at the end of a busy street, that the occupants may be unusually irritated. These are energy principles that are taught in beginner’s classes. As well, much of what gets discussed and evaluated in a Feng Shui reading are things which are not obvious to the naked eye, but also learned formulas and techniques. I don’t consider myself psychic but have learned and validated that a house which faces southwest (between 203-247 degrees) and built in the in the 1930’s, is a house which could encourage
occupants to become alcoholic or at least indulgent, catering to addictive behaviors. And there doesn’t have to be any physical evidence around to prove it. This is just one single example of how something pretty significant about the house’s influence is based on its age and orientation. We can even discuss the potential influence of a house before it is even built! Still, some clients expect that a Feng Shui consultant will possess supernatural powers or at least claim to have them. This may include sensing the presence of ghosts, spirits, and specific events that have transpired at that location. In reality, everyone is intuitive, but few people develop it. People should, in fact, follow their “gut” instincts or hunches more often. My own personal experience with people who claim to be professional psychics has included individuals who were just excessively confident about their overactive imaginations. The true

Remember Your True Identity By Guy Finley
When we see this world as a hostile place where new attacks are constantly launched against a shaky self, it only seems natural for us to be self-protective, and that’s exactly what we do. We put tremendous amounts of energy into developing Omtimes.com
and carrying out our plans for defense. Thus, we justify our actions to ward off the possible criticism of others. We fawn before people we see as more powerful than we are. We tell ourselves that we are superior to those we see as less powerful than ourselves. So, instead of living our lives fully and freely, we suffer from constantly comparing ourselves to others while unconsciously hoping we can make ourselves into someone against whom others will compare themselves! In a way, it’s as though we have built psychological bunkers from which we peer out at the world, wondering from where the next attack will come. Whenever we find ourselves hunkering down in those bunkers, building our defenses and planning our attacks, it would be an excellent time to remember this new view of our lives: that we are actually unfolding from the inside out, regardless of the perception we have that the problems lie in threatening enemies that
charge us from outside. This means that instead of putting our attention on what others have done or said, or what the news of the day is, we can turn our attention inward. When we see the “attack” coming, we turn our attention around to see that it is only our false view that perceives an attack; and when we see that the “threat” we’re about to battle is really just a shadow -- cast off from a false idea we hold about ourselves -- then we meet the event from our true self; our own awakened nature whose higher understanding realizes that the perceived “attack” upon us has no power of itself. It is only our reaction to it, our belief in the insulted or hurt self it gives rise to, which gives it any power over us. In the past, we accepted the cruel remark of a thoughtless person as being something real, with the power to hurt us. Our wrong thinking created the problem, and therefore could never solve it. It was not separate from the problem.

Do You Love Like an Adult or Child? By Marcia Sirota, MD.
When I observe how people engage in romantic relationships, it seems that they do this in one of two ways: either from the perspective of a child or from that of an adult. Omtimes.com
People who pursue love from an adult perspective are looking for companionship, romance, a life partner. They’re realistic about what the other person has to offer, but they won’t settle for less than what will make them truly happy. They understand that while love is enriching and meaningful, it can’t make up for what’s missing in their lives or be the center of their existence. The adult who pursues love won’t stay in a bad relationship just for the sake of being with somebody, and they won’t tolerate mistreatment, as they know that this isn’t preferable to being alone. An autonomous, self-sufficient adult would rather be alone than with someone disappointing or hurtful. In an adult relationship, both people are intact, fullyfunctioning members of society with their own lives and interests. They bring out the best in each other and feel good about themselves when they’re with their partner. People in adult relationships aren’t constantly frustrated with their partner, complaining about
them or passive-aggressively leaking anger at them. Adults are willing to work on a relationship that they feel is worth saving, but they’re able to walk away when it’s clear that it no longer makes sense to stay together. Adults don’t cheat. If they’re unhappy with their relationship, they address the issues directly. If they develop feelings for someone else, they explore what’s driving this attraction and then choose either to resist temptation or to end their current relationship. They don’t act out in ways that are hurtful to themselves or others. People who approach love from a child-like perspective, however, have a very different agenda. Rather than looking for romance or companionship, they’re unconsciously seeking a solution to emotional wounds and needs which have arisen from past experiences. When the child part of the psyche is in charge of love, what’s driving the pursuit of relationships is the need to fill up emptiness and compensate for love that was lacking in Omtimes.com
The 4 Laws for Emotional Release and Detachment
It is possible that you hear the word detachment it causes you a feeling of coldness and selfishness. Nothing is further from the reality. The word detachment, when understood within the context of personal growth,
Omtimes.com
withholds a precious inner value that all of us must learn to develop. Practicing detachment does not mean giving up everything that is important to us or breaking affective bonds or personal relationships
with those that are part of our daily lives. “Detachment means knowing how to love, appreciate, and engage in relationships with a more balanced and healthy view, freeing yourself from the excesses that trap you. The emotional release allows us to be living more honestly, according to our own needs: To Grow, advance wisely, without harming anyone and at the same time, not letting anyone limit you.
Here we have the 4 laws of detachment for emotional release. Should we practice them? 1 - Law of detachment: You are responsible for yourself No one can live for you. No one can breathe for you, no one can volunteer to bear your sorrows, or feel your pain. You are the engineer of your own life, and every step you take is an important one in your walk. So the first law you should keep in mind to practice detachment is to become aware that you are entirely responsible for yourself.
Do not blame others for your happiness. Do not imagine that to be happy you need to find the ideal partner or have the recognition of your whole family. You are enough. If you fantasize about the opinion of others being your measure of satisfaction and happiness, you will achieve nothing but suffering. Others will almost never meet our needs. Cultivate your own happiness, be responsible, mature, be aware of your choices and consequences and never let your well-being depend on the opinion of others. 2 - Law of detachment: Live in the present, accept and assume your reality Many times, we can’t admit that nothing in this life is eternal, that nothing remains the same; everything flows and resumes its own path. Many people are still focused on what happened in the past, and it becomes a massive burden we carry in the present life. Even if it is painful, accept it. Try to realize the past is gone

A heart that is beating and based in light-filled action to humanity sets an example just by existing in their vibration. This incredible globe called Earth exists in a universe that creates with light. As energy glows, life thrives and grows. We are beings evolved from this brilliance with minds, hearts, and consciousness that has and will continue to evolve and expand. The knowledge we possess now is only a fraction of what is to come. We are learning how to unlock the codes and turn the keys to help connect the spirituality of science in full force. The energetic forces which propel us to keep pushing the boundaries are waiting for the proper time for us to discover what miracles have always been in front of us. We just have to keep our courage, trust our intuitive natures, and refuse to accept that nothing can be done to manifest light energy! How we bring light to our lives can be complicated and varied, but they are worth it. Our very existence depends on our ability to understand the capabilities we possess in our true nature, which help us overcome negativity and inhumanity. It is time to shed light on some of the very difficult and alarming situations in our society. By
bringing light on the darker side of human behavior, we begin the process of evolving the situation into non-acceptance of its existence. Through that process, we discover how to develop our minds so we that we can help others speak up and begin to heal their hearts and minds from abuse. It is so important that we send light instead of judgment. Visualizing light brings in knowledge, calm and peace not only to our minds but our bodies and spirits as well. The experience of feeling bliss, lightness of being, is too incredible to describe. It feels like floating on invisible billows, held by loving arms and protected in radiance, at one with existence. Throughout history, spirituality has echoed this mantra. In meditation and during intense healing sessions, the divine can be felt by anyone who believes in its power, even those who might doubt its existence. The euphoric feeling is the rush that stirs our soul to create new thoughts, solutions, ideas which help bring into life the things we wish to manifest. When we bring our challenges into the light, we set in motion Omtimes.com
Unveiling Isis by Marguerite Dar Boggia
Madame H.P. Blavatsky wrote Isis Unveiled1 by reading invisible records in the astral light (also called the Akashic records). She also received help from the Masters. All that has ever transpired has ever been spoken or written can be read in the invisible records in space Omtimes.com
surrounding our globe, which is also called the “etheric body of our globe.” According to Madame Blavatsky, the Astral Light is identical with the Hindu Akasa.2 Akasa is the subtle, supersensuous spiritual essence which pervades all space; It is the veil or concretization of the highest spiritual, while the earth is the concretization of the astral light.3 The purpose of her book was and is to reveal the dogmatic assumptions of modern science and theology and to offer the Platonic philosophy as the only middle ground. She also explores the vast domain of the paranormal. The motivating power of the man and the universe, she shows to be spiritual, not material. To appreciate the prejudice which has marked the treatment of psychological subjects in the past, she reviewed the book “Histoire du Merveilleux dans Les Temps Modernes” published by its author, Dr. Figuier. It has teemed of quotations from the most conspicuous authorities in psychology, psychology, and
medicine. It was not facts but merely the way in which such facts were regarded by those, who were recognized as authorities, that she wanted to demonstrate to the reader. Blavatsky begins with the Convulsionnaires of Cevennes, the epidemic of whose astounding phenomena occurred during the latter part of 1700. They were a French religious sect.4 A mere handful of men, women, and children, not exceeding 2,000 persons in number, could withstand for years king’s troops, which, with the militia, amounted to 60,000 men. That is a miracle in itself. On page 370 she writes: “There is in existence an official report which was sent to Rome by the ferocious Abbe’ Chayla, the prior of Laval, in which he complains that the evil one is so powerful, that no torture, no amount of inquisitory exorcism, is able to dislodge him from the Cevennois. He closed their hands with burning coals, and they were not even singed. DORJE - The Magic Thunderbolt Rod By Shakti World
The Dorje, also called a Vajra is a Sanskrit word for diamond or thunderbolt; It is used as a symbolic weapon or tool to help one destroy negative forces; The vajra can be held in one’s hand; It is used in Omtimes.com
Hindu, Jain and Buddhist traditions. The Dorje or Vajra appears to be similar to the thunderbolt weapon carried by the Vedic God Indra, and the Olympian God Zeus.
rays. The Dorje is an artisticarchetypal representation of the ultimate spiritual dynamic, functioning as an active meditative component, a formenergy transceiver.
The word Dorje (in Tibetan) is equivalent to vajra (in Sanskrit) and means weapon, ray, scepter, diamond. The hidden virtue of this instrument is to repel invisible evil influences and purify the air (like ozone in chemistry). The Dorje is the symbol of Divine Wisdom that annihilates all passions and leads us to the control of samsara existence (incarnations). It is the highest symbol of spiritual power to which nothing resists. Its preciousness, value, purity, and brilliance have equaled it to the diamond - which cuts any material and is not cut by any.
Dorje is often used in rituals of meditation and contemplation as a symbol of the union between the Relative Truth, represented by the experience of daily life, and the Absolute Truth, a state of being that lives in union with nature and with all that it surrounds it. On the other hand, when the Dorje and the Bell are used during meditation, the objective is to balance the male part with the feminine part of things, to achieve spiritual clarity.
As a thunderbolt weapon, the Dorje destroys both internal and external enemies. The Dalai Lama has a title of “Owner of the Dorje,” because the staff has the power to dominate the fire of the sky and to emit healing
At first sight, the Dorje is confused as a common souvenir because it looks like a scepter used by kings in medieval Europe. But the DORJE has another and different function and can be seen in the Buddhist temples right along with gongs, Singing bowls, and sacred prints. The Dorje is a metal

The Vedic Elements of Archetypes Everything that exists in nature, according to The Vedic Tradition, is structured by three primary attributes, or Gunas. Gunas is understood to be the natural impulses and principles of life that condition all matters. These attributes or Gunas manifest themselves as Sattwa (or the principle of superior intelligence, fluidity, smoothness, and harmony); like Tamas (or the law of inertia, density, resistance) and Rajas (the principle Omtimes.com
of rational mental energy, turbulence, impulsiveness). We can make an analogy comparing the behavior of the Gunas manifesting as a wave, where Sattwa balances an action, Tamas maintains this action and Rajas unbalances it, changes the status and generates the conditions for a new Sattwa to start a new equilibrium initiative. There is also another principle governing the manifestation of life which is the Principle of Polarity. According to this principle, two complementary forces make up everything that exists, and in this dynamic equilibrium, all movement and mutation arise. This law covers the world of duality. These forces are composed of two elements: 1. - passive, feminine, nocturnal, dark, cold, having a negative character, also called Yin and 2. - active, masculine, diurnal, bright, warm, positive role, also named Yang. These dual elements are in truth complementary in nature, and
there is no hierarchy between them. In electricity, the positive and the negative are necessary to produce energy and therefore the manifestation of light. Starting from these two principles (Gunas and Polarities) and through the combination of the different factors, the result is the manifestation of the primary 12 archetypes. From the one (Divinity) is made the two (Polarity) and this is manifested in number three (Trinity). From the combination of number three (Trinity-Gunas) is made the four (Elements), making the seven (3 + 4) and the combination of these results the 12 (3 × 4), as we can summarize in the Archetypes, constellation’ symbols and their meaning in Astrology. Archetypes and patterns of thought and behavior. Many schools of psychology that use the interpretive method tend to pay attention to the meaning of the events that have occurred to the patient to decipher the conflict they involve according to their symbolic contents. Most of these schools only observe past conflicting events in the Omtimes.com
Overcome Limiting Beliefs So You Can Stay on the Path to Success by Carl Greer, PhD, PsyD
My doubles tennis partner and I were playing in the championship of a tournament and far ahead of our opponents and if we were to win the next point, we would win the match. But suddenly, our limiting beliefs got the better of us: We started to play not to lose. Instead of
Omtimes.com
continuing to play as we had, we became afraid that something would go wrong and we would lose that point, then the set, and then the match. We sabotaged ourselves by being too cautious and fearful of making mistakes. It reminded me that if you want to overcome limiting beliefs, you have to recognize the fearful belief that underlies them. For my tennis partner and I, the fear was that we could not count on our streak of excellent playing to continue, that our luck would run out. The truth was we were playing especially well due to our hard work at building our skills individually and as a team. Our mindsets had not yet caught up with the truth that we were playing better than ever. Our fear was that playing as we had been would not be good enough to win. How often do you prematurely change a winning life strategy? All of us have limiting beliefs based in our past experiences, and they can get in the way once we start to see evidence that those beliefs are no longer true. A person who finally begins to lose weight and stick to an
exercise and eating pattern that is keeping the weight off may look back at the past and think, “I have to be wary. I start out great but always end up reverting to the old habits.” Limiting beliefs can sabotage your ability to fully trust that circumstances have changed— and that you have changed. Whether your old, limiting belief is, “I am never going to exercise regularly and eat well,” “I’m unlucky at love,” “I’m not a winner,” or something else, when you let it influence your thinking in the present, you end up playing not to lose—but then do. The past does not have to determine your perceptions about yourself. Old, limiting beliefs can cause you to unknowingly sabotage yourself. If your successes are new, give yourself credit for making positive changes. Perhaps you are more mindful of your movements, or you now work more collaboratively with others. Perhaps you have built new skills that are serving you well. Don’t assume that your successes are due only to luck that can change quickly. Take the time to give yourself credit for what you have done well to get you to where you are now. Omtimes.com
How to Empower the Perspective of Ourselves, Others and the World by Crystal Presence
Exploring the nature of our perceptions. Acknowledging where some of our perspectives are draining and misusing our personal power. Ways we can bring forth a new context of living by changing and empowering our perspectives.
Omtimes.com
How healthy are our perspectives of others, the world and ourselves? Even with our best intentions, we can find ourselves like a fish in water. Going through life with habitual patterns of how we think, feel and act in the world. We trick ourselves into believing that our perspective, our worldview, is just “how life is” and necessary to survive. We pretend that our lives are “fine” while perpetuating an epidemic of disconnection, isolation, and suffering. What if we acknowledged our power draining perspectives such as overworking, avoiding emotions, creating drama, overthinking and other ways we misuse who we are? What would happen if we created a whole new context of living based on new and expanding perspectives? Below are a few ways to expedite this process… 1) Asking ourselves powerful questions such as, “What is the nature of experiencing full alignment with myself and my source?”
2) Observing and admitting the details of how we disconnect and hold ourselves back. We can make this easier with Riso and Hudson’s book, The Wisdom of the Enneagram; an excellent resource for recognizing our current perspectives, core motivations and how we misuse or use our greatest strengths The Enneagram is a quick way to understand ourselves with extraordinary clarity and compassion for ourselves and others. It teaches us how to set ourselves free by recognizing our perspectives and changing the ways we think, feel and behave. The following is a list of prominent perspectives for each of the nine personality types outlined in the book. Each of the types is sabotaged by a belief that “We will feel free when… • We can get things and people organized and in perfect order. Then we can relax, and everything in our lives will be perfect.
