BigBattery was founded in 2019 with a clear mission: to make affordable and accessible Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery solutions available to US consumers. Recognizing that batteries are often the most expensive component of every green energy system, our CEO, Eric Lundgren, was determined to drive down costs and make sustainable energy a reality for everyone
Our executive team’s journey began with deep expertise in repurposing and recycling electronic components. This background paved the way for our initial entry into the battery industry through the repurposing of automotive battery units. With this foundation, BigBattery ventured into the consumer market, addressing the lack of reliable off-grid battery solutions at a time when the industry was underserved.

ETHOS
Our 48V ETHOS Energy Storage System (ESS) was built to be a versatile home power solution, with a stackable, modular design for easy expandability, and all hardware included to mount your ETHOS to your wall with an effortless installation. The ETHOS comes equipped with an IP65-rated casing, an internal fire suppression system, as well as an advanced BMS with auto cell-balancing to ensure long-lasting safety and reliability.
