Welcome Welcome! We are thrilled to welcome you back — in person — to the OLE Health Foundation’s SALUD Napa Valley. Tonight, we are excited to be gathered together to raise a toast to OLE Health and its decades-long commitment to ensuring that everyone in our community receives quality healthcare regardless of their ability to pay or their immigration status. This year, we have an even bigger reason to celebrate: OLE Health’s 50th anniversary. While much has changed for the organization since its founding in 1972, two things have remained constant: its dedication to the most vulnerable members of our community, and the innumerable ways in which the community has steadfastly supported OLE Health. From its humble beginnings as a volunteer clinic above La Luna Market to today’s state-of-the-art health centers staffed by full-time medical providers caring for more than 40,000 of our neighbors, each step along the way has been made possible through the giving spirit of our donors, volunteers, board members, partners and elected officials. As the world returns to a sense of normalcy, and we spend the evening reconnecting, laughing, dining, drinking, and maybe even a little dancing, we cannot forget the ways in which this organization stewarded our community through the pandemic. Between testing and vaccinating, OLE Health and its team of committed professionals have been at the forefront of ensuring Napa Valley weathered the storm. We are proud to have played such a vital role in keeping our workforce healthy and our businesses open during this challenging time. When it comes time to raise your paddle, we hope you will keep that in mind. Raise it high and raise it often for our incredible auction lots and our Fund a Need. Ozomatli Ozomatli is an American six-piece band known for its wide array of musical styles including salsa, jazz, funk, reggae, rap and more. The group — widely recognized for advocating for farmworkers’ rights and immigration reform — has released seven studio albums, won two Grammy Awards, composed music for Happy Feet 2 and recorded Ozomatli Presents Ozokidz, a family-friendly album. They also served as the house band for Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand Up Revolution comedy show and toured with Santana on their Supernatural Tour, where legendary guitarist Carlos Santana described Ozomatli as “the future of music.” Ozomatli has performed their high-energy live shows in countries all over the world including China, Tunisia, Jordan, Cuba and Burma. The band is back with their first full album in five years, the triumphantly titled “Marching On.”
