We look forward to the upcoming season which will include updated tournaments and golf programs for the whole membership to enjoy. This year’s Tournament Book includes the complete 2026-2027 schedule and entry forms for the “major” tournaments along with information on Twilight Events. Each “click here” tab is hyperlinked to the corresponding tournament’s registration page. As a reminder, all 2026-2027 tournament registrations will be available on the Club’s website via the Golf Genius Event Portals. Posting Scores USGA Handicap Guidelines must always be observed when posting your score. Please note: 1. Post ALL scores (As of 2019, scores may not be posted during rounds that you are playing alone) on the day of play. 2. Adjust any hole score downward when it is higher than the maximum number of strokes you are allowed to post (Net Double Bogey Maximum). 3. If you start, but do not complete a hole, post for handicap purposes the score you most likely would have made. (This may not be the maximum for that hole.) 4. If you do not play a hole, post a score which is the sum of par plus the strokes you would get on that hole. 5. If you play 10 or more holes, post a score for the 18-holes using the above guideline to determine your score. Players must play all 9-holes in order to post a 9-hole score. 6. If you have any questions about posting, contact one of the members of the professional staff.

Tournament Cancellation Policy This tournament season, we will continue to be implementing a cancellation policy for all our multi-day tournaments, and others as noted in the Tournament Programs. This includes, but is not limited to: Men’s Chaffin Cup, Women’s Chaffin Cup, Men’s Member-Guest, and Women’s Member-Guest.
For events that reach maximum capacity, once we are within a 45-day window of the tournament date, all registered participants will have their account billed 50% of the entry fee. In the event you need to cancel, your account will be credited only if your place can be filled. Special exceptions can be made by the Tournament Committee on a case-by-case basis.

Women’s Chaffin Cup Tuesday & Wednesday, October 20 – 21 36-Holes | Annual Member-Member 2025 Champions: Marla Keppler & Cindy Van Horne Join us for the annual member-member tournament at Old Tabby Links! As is custom, the event will be 36-holes played over two days using four different nine-hole formats. Teams will be arranged into three (3) 18-hole flights based on their combined handicap indexes. In addition, there will be a 9-hole division, with participants playing 9 holes each day. Each flight winner will qualify for the overall playoff to determine 2026 Overall Champions. This event is a partner event, and you may make your own team or be paired by the Professional Staff.

This event is 18-holes and is a 2- person team event. Teams must consist of one male and one female member. You may create your own team or be paired by the Professional Staff.

Play will be distributed into three divisions: Women’s Gold/Lime Combo Tee, Men’s White Tees, and Men’s Green Tees. Women’s Overall Champion will be the player with the lowest net score. Men’s Overall Champion will be determined by a chip-off between the White & Green Tee Division Winners. All players are required to use a riding cart.

Solheim Cup Monday, December 7 18-Holes | Match Play We are pleased to introduce the Solheim Cup, a women’s golf event. We will have two captains pick teams at the Christmas Party on December 6. On Monday, we will have a Singles Match Play event. One point per match won, ½ point for match halved, and zero points for match lost. The team that has won the most points will win the Solheim Cup! This will take place on Monday, December 7. This event will take place of the Wednesday Play Day.

Palmer Cup East-West Challenge Thursday & Friday, March 11 - 12 2026 Champion: West Join us for 2027 Palmer Cup to see if the East side or the West side of the Island will be the new reigning champions! Thursday, March 11 6:00 pm Pairings Party – Golf House Brett (West Co-Captain) & Ben (East Co-Captain) will pair up with a member from each side of the Island who will choose their teams and pick who they will be playing against. The evening will start with cocktails and appetizers and be followed by a buffet dinner.

TENGO Spring Tengo Sunday, March 14th Join us for a full day of competition! The annual TENGO tournament features Tennis in the morning and Golf in the afternoon. Teams will be arranged by Larry Angus. The Golf format will be a two-person team scramble starting with a 2:30pm Shotgun. Men & Women of all skill levels are welcome to join. There is no entry fee associated with this event for SITA members.

The format for the event is one best ball of the men combined with one best ball of the women for your team score. You may register as a foursome or twosome. Please Note: The Professional Staff will post all Wednesday scores immediately following play for applicable formats. Please do not enter your score on your own. The Ringer Board & Birdie Jar is in the Women’s Locker Room. Ringer scores & birdies can be posted from any round provided it is at least nine holes and attested by one other Club member. Discard your highest 3 net hole scores from your overall score. The Point System is as follows: Net Double Bogey or higher = 0 points, Net Bogey = 1 point, Net Par = 2 points, Net Birdie = 3 points, Net Eagle = 4 points, Net Double Eagle = 5 points. Wednesday, February 17 Format: WGA Social Mixer 10:00am – Nine-hole scramble and luncheon Wednesday, February 24 18 & 9-Hole Format: Super Best Ball – Blind Draw for teams – Threesomes: Play your own ball throughout. Count one best ball on each hole; all NET birdies or better count toward your teams score. If two players make a NET birdie on the same hole, count both birdies! Wednesday, March 3
18 & 9-Hole Format: Odds – The player with the lowest combined net scores on the odd numbered holes win. Wednesday, March 10 – Make your Own Threesome 18 & 9-Hole Format: Three hole throw out. Discard your highest 3 net hole scores from your overall score. Low Gross will be awarded. Cameron Cup Points for Player of the Year will be awarded as follows: • 1 point for participation each Wednesday • 3 points for winning the game on Wednesday • 2 points for second place on Wednesday • 1 point for third place on Wednesday *Plus 6 points for 1st, 4 points for 2nd, and 2 point for 3rd in the following events*: • Chaffin Cup, Old Tabby Cup, and the Club Championship
