Outline of Trip - Aims and Itinerary

This trip, which will take place in March 2026, will be open to pupils in Years 6, 7 and 8 (places will be limited to 40). The trip is open to all levels of skiing and each pupil will receive 25 hours of tuition over the course of five days. In addition to the skiing, there will be an evening programme that will include bowling and a chance to enjoy some traditional French crêpes.

The cost of the trip will include a 5-day ski pass, ski instruction, ski hire (including skis, boots, poles and helmets) and ski instructors that will be dedicated to our group.

Please note that, due to Easter falling very early in 2027, it is likely that the 2026-2027 Ski Trip will take place in December 2026. This will be confirmed in due course.

Outline of Trip – Aims and Itinerary

During the course of the trip, the children will be involved in a range of cultural and linguistic activities. They will goto a market and complete a French Treasure hunt activity. Pupils will also have the chance to discover the Somme battlefields and to visit the Albert Museum for a full day of History. We will even tap into the pupils’ interest in biology with a visit to a snail farm.

Le Château du Broutel has many exciting sporting activities in store for our Year 6!

Outline of Trip – Aims and Itinerary

The Bushcraft Company is based at Penshurst Place, a historic site in Kent, described as ‘a magical myriad of lakes, rivers and woodland’. The trip, which will run from Monday 22nd to Wednesday 24th June 2026, will provide our Leavers with a wonderful opportunity to tackle a variety of exciting, fun and challenging outdoor activities, all designed to enhance social and personal development, and to build teamwork skills and self-confidence. These fun activities will also include campcraft skills, fire making, shelter building, map reading and basic first-aid

The staff at the centre will draw up, and run, the daytime and evening activities. They will be assisted by the Junior King’s staff.

We hope that the whole year group will be able to join what promises to be a special and memorable trip.

Outline of Trip – Aims and Itinerary

The touring party will be comprised of two girls’ hockey teams and two boys’ football/hockey teams. It will follow a similar format to the sports tours that we have organised previously.

Whilst we are on tour, we will play fixtures in Holland, take in some culture, and hope to enjoy a visit to a leisure pool. There will also be opportunities to indulge in some ‘retail therapy’. The trip will also include time at a theme park, giving the tourists a fantastic finish to, what will undoubtedly be, a highly memorable trip.

All of these plans are provisional and subject to confirmation in due course.

Outline of Trip – Aims and Itinerary

This co-curricular trip, open to pupils in Years 7 and 8, will celebrate a variety of subjects: Art, Classics, Latin and Humanities.

We shall visit a number of sites: Pompeii (a large preserved Ancient Roman city); Vesuvius (which, in 1995, was declared a National Park, and where visitors are welcomed to walk on the incredible crater and take in the views across the Bay of Naples); Capri (having enjoyed a boat trip to this beautiful island, pupils will visit Villa Jovis and Certosa di San Giacomo); Herculaneum (an amazing Roman town preserved in mud); Villa Poppaea (a preserved villa from the eruption of Vesuvius); the National Archaeological Museum in Naples.

In addition to the amazing trips listed above, pupils will also have the opportunity to make pizzas and sample the gelato!

We shall travel by coach and plane. All trips, insurance and transfers are covered.

Pocket money - 150 euros maximum. Pocket money will be used to purchase lunches and souvenirs.

Outline of Trip – Aims and Itinerary

All members of the Chamber Choir will be invited to spend a weekend in Cambridge during the Summer Term. Over the course of the weekend, we shall sing concerts in one of the Cambridge University colleges, and in other local venues, including a cathedral.

This trip will offer pupils a wonderful opportunity to sing in some amazing venues, and to explore the culture of a beautiful and vibrant English city.

Pupils will be immersed in the beautiful city of Valencia, where they will take in their cultural and historical surroundings. This trip will offer pupils an excellent opportunity to practise their linguistic skills in real life situations with native speakers.

This trip will include a range of activities, from sightseeing to Spanish lessons and, of course, cooking and eating paella!
