Uncertainty was the one word that seemed to haunt a lot of us this past year, and with good reason. We were dealing with inflation instability, COVID-19 and the thought of how the ongoing pandemic would affect the markets. Through it all, we saw robust quarterly returns and ended fiscal year 2021 in much better shape than we had ever anticipated, thanks to our focus on sustainability and the investment policy of the Community Foundation.
This was a year where we saw our citizens continue to invest in our community, despite all of the negative news we were presented with on a daily basis. Our future will continue to endure because of the passion and generosity our Lawton-area residents have, as they continue to lift up our neighbors and build a better community.
