A Letter from Kevin Cohrs Dear Plateau Club Members, It’s hard to believe September is already here, with kids heading back to school and football season kicking off. As we move into fall, we’re excited to keep building on the momentum from the past few seasons with a great lineup of social and dining events. And let’s not forget — fall golf is some of the best golf of the year, so we hope to see you out on the course. August was another fantastic month at the club! We wrapped up a full slate of championships this year — please see the golf section for all the details, and join us in congratulating all of our Club Champions! This month brings Jackpot Night, poker, two more Friday Night Live events, and a new addition this year — our one-day Couples Member Guest. Keep an eye out, because we’re already planning a fun lineup of member events for the fall! One last reminder, we’ve gone paperless with member statements. If you’d prefer yours printed and mailed, we’re happy to accommodate — just reach out to Cindy at cindyr@plateauclub.com. We’d also like to give a warm welcome to John Xiao, our new Facilities Maintenance team member. John has already made some great improvements around the clubhouse, and as an avid golfer himself, he’ll fit right in — be sure to say hello if you see him around the club. As always, your feedback means a lot to us. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any suggestions or ideas for events you’d like to see at the club. Mark your calendars and join us — we can’t wait to see you around the club in September. All the best,

Kevin Cohrs

General Manager

GOLF

Words From The Shop Plateau Members, It is hard to believe we are already turning the calendar to September! With the kids heading back to school and summer schedules beginning to settle down, hopefully that means a little more time for you to sneak out to The Plateau Club and enjoy some golf! August was a busy month at the Club, with several of our biggest championships of the season taking place. We would like to congratulate all of our 2026 Club Champions!

2026 Club Champions Ladies Club Championship Gross Champion: Meaghan Rodgers Net Champion: Christine Lee Men’s Club Championship Gross Champion: TJ Hubbard Net Champion: Justin Lee We had a fantastic weekend of competition and appreciate everyone who came out to compete. Congratulations to Meaghan, Christine, TJ and Justin on earning their titles! We would also like to recognize the champions of our 2026 Couples Club Championship, which featured 27 holes and three different formats. Couples Club Championship Gross Champions: Jim & Cathy Cangiano Net Champions: Jay & Laura Leahy Congratulations to both teams and thank you to all of our couples who participated!

Couples Member-Guest - Sunday, September 27th There is still plenty of tournament golf ahead of us, and we hope you will join us for our One-Day Couples Member-Guest on Sunday, September 27! This is a great opportunity to invite another couple out to experience The Plateau Club and enjoy a fun day of golf and competition with friends. If you have been looking for an excuse to bring some guests out to the Club, this is it! Registration is open now, and we encourage everyone interested to get signed up using the link below! As summer winds down, September is one of the best times of the year to enjoy the golf course. We hope to see everyone out at the Club often this month — especially now that the kids are back in school! All the best,

Cameron Bajaj, PGA Head Golf Professional

Keeper of the Greens As we came to the end of August, we finally caught a bit of a break in the weather and received some much-needed rain. August 29th was the first rain we had received since July 2nd, and the first significant rainfall—over 0.1”— since June 9th. With a good, solid week of cooler temperatures, with the highest recorded temperature being 80°, we’ve seen some great recovery in our hot spots on tees and fairways, even while decreasing the amount of irrigation water we’re putting out. You may not be enjoying the cooler weather as much as I am if you’re a fan of blazing-hot summer days for golfing, but it’s been nice to be able to work on things during the second half of the day other than dragging hoses around. September also marks the time for aerification. Get your rounds in and enjoy the greens while they last, because our tentative schedule for punching the greens is Tuesday, September 29th, and Wednesday, September 30th, weather dependent. As the weather cools and more rain arrives, the greens will inevitably soften. As you play, please help us by repairing your ball marks, they will become deeper and more frequent as we move into the fall. Here’s hoping for a pleasant and golf-friendly autumn. Thanks, and I look forward to seeing you out here!

Thomas Wallick Superintendent

RECREATION

Recreation Updates Hello Members! Summer may be winding down, but there is still plenty happening around The Plateau Club Rec Center! As the kids head back to school and our schedules begin to settle into a fall routine, September is a great time to get back into those regular workouts, morning swims, pickleball games, and other activities you enjoy. Looking back, we had an incredible summer at the Rec Center. From our Penguins Swim Team season and summer camps to busy pool days, tennis, pickleball, and countless family visits, it was wonderful seeing the Club so full of energy. Thank you to all of our members, families, coaches, instructors, volunteers, and staff who helped make the summer such a success. Now, let’s welcome fall! HOURS

THE POOL IS OPEN YEAR-ROUND!

One of the great benefits of our continued partnership with IST is that members can continue enjoying the pool even after summer comes to an end. With the Penguins Swim Team season now complete, weekday lap swimming has returned to its regular 7:00–11:00 AM schedule M - F. Weekend recreational swim will also continue throughout the fall.

Pool Schedule

Lap Swim · Monday–Friday: 7:00–11:00 AM · Sunday: 9:00–11:00 AM Open Swim · Saturday & Sunday: 12:00–4:00 PM The pool remains heated to a comfortable 84°F, so don’t let cooler outdoor temperatures keep you away. Whether you’re getting in your morning laps or bringing the family for a weekend swim, the pool is ready for you!

Seasonal Pool Updates

As we transition into the cooler months, the baby pool and spa will be winterized toward the end of September. This is part of our normal seasonal preparation to protect the equipment and systems during the colder months. The main pool will remain open, allowing members to continue enjoying year-round lap swimming and weekend recreational swim through our continued partnership with IST. Pool Reminder: Please take a quick cleansing shower before entering the pool. This helps remove oils and debris and helps us maintain clean, clear water for everyone. Weather Reminder: During periods of severe weather, including lightning or heavy storms, pool operations may be temporarily suspended until conditions are safe.

A Big Thank You to our Penguins!

The 2026 Penguins Swim Team season has officially come to a close! We want to congratulate all of our swimmers for their hard work and dedication throughout the season. From early morning practices to exciting meets, it was wonderful watching our swimmers improve their skills, support their teammates, and represent The Plateau Club. A special thank you goes to our coaches, parent volunteers, officials, and families who gave their time and energy throughout the season. A swim team doesn’t happen without the support of an entire community, and we truly appreciate everyone who helped make this season possible.

Fall Swim Lessons!

Just because summer is over doesn’t mean swimming needs to stop! Fall is a great time for swimmers to continue building confidence and improving their skills. Lessons are limited and available based on instructor availability. If you’re interested in lessons or would like more information, please contact the Rec Center.

Pickleball & Tennis

As summer schedules settle down, September is a great time to get back on the courts! Whether you’re an experienced player or still learning the basics, tennis and pickleball are great ways to stay active and connect with other members. Pickleball Community Looking for someone to play with? Join our Plateau group on TeamReach to connect with other players and find games. Group: Plateau Code: 098074 For tennis and pickleball, please remember to reserve your court through Member Hub when possible, or check in at the Rec Desk if you’re looking for walk-on availability.

Looking Ahead

As we move into fall, we’ll begin transitioning from our busy summer schedule into our regular seasonal programming. But the fun doesn’t stop when summer ends! Thanks to our continued partnership with IST, members can continue enjoying the pool throughout the fall and winter. Lap swimmers can keep their morning routines going, and families can continue enjoying weekend recreational swim. We’ll also continue offering yoga, pickleball, tennis, swim lessons, and other Rec Center activities throughout the fall. And before we know it, we’ll be talking about Summer 2027!

Facility Reminders

As we transition into fall, please help us keep the Rec Center welcoming and enjoyable for everyone. · Please sign in at the Rec Center when you arrive. · Guests and personal trainers must be registered and checked in. · Please wipe down gym equipment after use. · Return equipment to its proper location when finished. · Tennis and pickleball players should reserve their court or check in at the Rec Desk for walk-on play. · Please help keep the pool deck and surrounding areas clean. Thank you for helping us take care of the facilities we all enjoy!

Thank you, Plateau Club!

Summer 2026 was one to remember, and we couldn’t have done it without our members. Thank you for bringing your families to the pool, signing your kids up for camps, cheering on the Penguins, playing on the courts, working out in the gym, and simply making the Rec Center a fun place to be. As we turn the page to fall, we hope you’ll continue making the Rec Center part of your weekly routine. Enjoy the beginning of fall, stay active, and we’ll see you around the Rec Center!
