FOOD BANKS — LIGHT IN THE FACE OF HUNGER
Hunger is a harsh reality, even in Canada. Many families—single parents, refugees, elderly dependents—struggle daily to put food on the table. For over 20 years, ICNA Relief Canada’s Food Banks have stood as community-powered lifelines, serving those in need with dignity and compassion.
WHO WE SERVE & HOW IT WORKS
Our Food Banks extend essential support to individuals and families across diverse backgrounds—those facing unemployment, navigating immigrant challenges, or dealing with other financial hardships. To access support, families register either online or in person and must meet financial-need criteria. Due to high demand, each household may visit once per month to ensure fair reach for all.

HOW WE'RE POWERED

Powered entirely by generous donors —from individuals and local groups to grocery stores our food banks rely on both monetary and nonperishable food contributions. Community-driven collection drives help us keep shelves stocked and services running.
