This document presents insights from the workshop organised by the OECD Working Party on Innovation and Technology Policy (TIP) and contributed to the 2023-24 TIP work on skills and capabilities needs for transitions project.
The workshop built on the recent 2023 edition of the OECD Science, Technology and Innovation Outlook and the OECD-DSIT workshop “STI systems in transitions: Effective approaches to address skills and capabilities needs” held in April 2023. Insights from these discussions feed into the 2023-24 TIP projects, the Committee for Scientific and Technological Policy (CSTP)’s Transformative Agenda for STI Policy initiative, and the 2024 CSTP Ministerial Meeting.
