Powerpuff Girls The Powerpuff Girls are a halloween costume that works well for a group of three. The costumes themselves are incredibly affordable because all that is needed is a shirt of the appropriate color (red, green or blue, depending on the character), black shorts, pants or a skirt, and a hair ribbon of the matching color. Assigning roles based on hair color would be a nice touch, but the point would come across no matter what. Coming in under $20, this group costume will have you and your friends ready to fight crime and save the day!

Rainbow This costume works great for a larger group, since you can have up to 10 people representing the different colors of the rainbow! All that is needed is an outfit of the color of your choosing, which could also be paired with black bottoms if the budget doesn’t allow for purchasing colored bottoms. The Incredibles A group of friends or family can dress up in all red, or red tops with black bottoms and add a mask and the signature “Incredibles� logo on the chest. This costume is easy to make, gets the point across without any explanation and can be modified to fit the budget of anyone. AHS Clowns

The seventh season of American Horror Story left the world terrified by the clowns introduced, and it wouldn’t be all too hard to recreate the iconic costumes. A wardrobe similar to all of the clowns could easily be found at a local thrift store, and Halloween makeup can be purchased at Spirit Halloween to recreate the mask designs. Clowns are a go-to horror staple if the squad wants to get spooky.
IT Squad / The Losers Club Dressing up as major characters from the movie “IT” is a fantastic group costume. The squad can be Beverly, Bill, Ben, Mike, Stan, Richie, Eddie and even Pennywise! This is another costume to which all of the pieces can be gathered from the thrift store, with the exception of a little makeup from the Halloween store. Excluding the clown himself, these costumes are also fairly “normal”, and are good for a crowd that doesn’t want to go over the top.
