El Paso Central Appraisal District’s (CAD) formal and informal hearing results are displayed below: The El Paso CAD total tax savings in 2022 of $44 million is more than the 2021 total property tax savings of $33 million. August 2023 El Paso County property owners gained tax savings of around $18.8 million through informal hearings and $11.6 million as a result of Appraisal Review Board hearings, for an estimated total tax savings of $30 million in 2021.
July 2023 In 2021, The El Paso Central Appraisal District ARB hearings resulted in a total of $467 million in value reductions, leading to a property tax saving for the year estimated at around $11 million.
June 2023 The El Paso Central Appraisal District reduced assessed value through informal hearing settlements by $754 million in 2021. This generated property tax savings of approximately $18.5 million.
