Pines chief retires Says he’ll leave field of law enforcement permanently

to the 1940s, Berlin’s Flower Street community will honor the fallen defenders of this nation and its principles with an Old-Fashioned Memorial Day Parade on Monday. At 11 a.m., car and motorcycle units, floats, and bands will travel from Stephen Decatur Middle School down Flower Street, ending at Henry

By Tara Fischer Staff Writer (May 21, 2026) Ocean Pines Police Chief Tim Robinson is stepping down from his post on June 12 after a 34year career in law enforcement and three years with the community department. The Ocean Pines Association announced last Friday that Robinson will retire next month. The chief assumed leadership of the Ocean Pines Police DeChief Tim Robinson partment on Aug. 1, 2023, following over 30 years in the public safety sector. “I have accepted the notice from the chief on his retirement,” said OPA General Manager John Viola in the community statement. “We thank him for his three years of service to Ocean Pines and wish him well.” Robinson began his career as a seasonal police officer for two summers with the Rehoboth Beach Police Department and later joined the DelSee POLICE Page 8
