A heartening attendance at the Pink Stumps Day raised $7000
Club’s month to remember Gisborne Cricket Club’s proud achievements
The month of February showed the Gisborne Cricket Club at its best. In a sign of things to come, on 1 February the McIntyre First XI took One Day glory with a win over Woodend. This was followed on 14 February with an attendance of 120 women and a great display of caring at the club’s annual Pink Stumps Ladies Day, which raised close to $7000. All proceeds go to supporting the McGrath Foundation and the continued growth of women’s cricket within the club, making it an extra special Valentine’s Day.
