REGISTRATION & PAYMENT INORMATION

At Oak Farm Montessori School, learning and exploration don’t stop when summer starts—they only get better! Our action-packed summer camps are designed to keep kids moving, thinking, and creating, all while making unforgettable memories. With 150 acres of natural beauty as our playground, campers will dive into hands-on adventures, from outdoor explorations and creative projects to team challenges and exciting discoveries. Our talented staff of teachers and professionals have crafted interactive, engaging programs that keep kids active, outdoors, and— most importantly—screen-free! And with a safe, welcoming environment, parents can rest easy knowing their child is having the best summer ever.

Camps will run June 8th - August 7th, with no camp the weeks of June 29th & July 6th. All camps are week-long day camps running Monday through Friday on the Oak Farm Montessori School campus with drop off at 8:30am and pick up at 3:30pm. Campers should register according to the grade they will be entering fall of 2025. A list of items to pack for camp, along with drop off information will be emailed out to registered camper parents one week prior to the start of camp.

Toddler Camps appropriate for ages 18 months through 3 years, MUST be a current 20252026 Oak Farm Montessori toddler. Primary Camps appropriate for ages 3 - 6, MUST be able to toilet independently. Open to the public. In the afternoon all campers will have a rest period, some may choose to nap. Campers will be sent home if toileting is consistently an issue. Elementary Camps appropriate for campers entering 1st - 6th grade, but vary by camp. Open to the public. Middle/High School Camps appropriate for campers entering 6th grade - 12th grade and have limited availability due to advanced skills being taught. Students working with woodshop tools will need to have a signed waiver. Online camp registration will close one week before the camp start date. For example, the June 8th camp registration will close on Monday, June 1st. Cheddar Up does allow for waitlists, so if a camp is full please add your name to the waitlist we often have cancellations.

PLEASE NOTE:

• All camps are subject to cancellation based on enrollment.

• All registrations are considered final and non-refundable as of May 19, 2025. If there is a waitlist, a refund may be issued minus processing fees.

• Refunds will be given the week of May 19th for any camps canceled due to low enrollment. Low enrollment minimums vary by camp level, see individual camp description.

• OFMS does not offer before/after care, bus service, scholarships or sibling discounts for summer camp.

TODDLER DAY CAMP FEE $170/WEEK

Campers will enjoy a summer time version of their regular school day with work time, snack, community, lunch, nap, and lots of outdoor play. Children will go on walks in the woods, hikes to the gazebo and music garden, explore plants, dance to music, make crafts, and splash in the water. Snack will be provided. PRIMARY DAY CAMPS

Appropriate for ages 3-6 years, MUST be able to toilet independently. Open to the public. Snack provided. In the afternoon, all campers will have a rest period; campers ages 3 & 4 will nap.

KINDERFOREST! | DIANA MCCREERY

Explore, play, and learn in the great outdoors! Kids build independence by dressing for the weather, climbing trees, and creating imaginative games. Through hikes, animal track searches, and seasonal observations, they develop curiosity and confidence. Activities like singing games, shared snacks, and journaling encourage creativity and a deep love for nature. Cost: $155

SUNSHINE CHEFS | LAURA ZOLLMAN

A Montessori-inspired cooking experience where children ages 3–6 explore cooking through hands-on food preparation, sensory play, and outdoor activities that build independence and confidence. Campers practice real-life skills like pouring, spreading, chopping, and cleaning up, while learning to take pride in completing and sharing their work. Each child will also have the opportunity to lead a cooking session—guiding peers through measuring and food preparation while developing leadership and practical life skills. Cost: $165

GYMNASTICS CAMP | MELISSA WITT

Flip, roll, and leap into gymnastics fun! Campers will build strength, balance, and confidence while learning skills on the vault, bars, beam, and floor. With exciting obstacle courses, high-energy warm-ups, and plenty of movement, kids will stay active and engaged. The week ends with a short routine, where campers can show off their new skills in a fun and supportive setting! Cost: $155

READING IS MAGICAL | JASTEN TUTTLE

Inspiring young learners to fall in love with books through daily stories brought to life with hands-on activities, real-world exploration, and creative play. Campers will explore themes from each book through experiences like garden visits, imaginative projects, and daily chapter read-alouds that build understanding of story structure, curiosity, and excitement for what comes next. Children will also create their own stories, building confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of reading and learning. Cost: $155

WILD & FREE | NOAH & ZÖE LIEN

Unleash creativity at Artful Explorers Camp! Young artists will dive into painting, sculpting, collage, and more through daily creative adventures. From whimsical clay creatures to nature-inspired art, campers explore textures, colors, and storytelling. The camp wraps up with a mini art showcase, celebrating a summer of imagination, self-expression, and handson fun! Cost: $155

WILD WORLD OF ANIMALS | AMBER KULA

Campers will explore the five animal classifications with fun and exciting matching activites. These include reptiles, fish, mammals, birds, and amphibians. Campers will explore and create their favorite animal habitats. Not only is this an exciting learning experience but children will get to satisfy their animal curiousities. Cost: $155

LITTLE GARDENERS | SARAH SKINNER

Explore nature, and care for the world around them through meaningful, hands-on gardening work. Children will plant seeds, tend garden beds, harvest herbs, arrange flowers, and observe plant life cycles while building independence, responsibility, patience, and confidence through purposeful tasks. As they connect with nature and take ownership of their work, campers strengthen language skills, problem-solving, and emotional awareness—discovering that their actions have real impact on the environment around them Cost: $155

A TO Z EXPLORERS | BROOKE SPITNALE

Each day features hands-on activities, snacks, crafts, and games inspired by a different letter—like apples for A, basketball for B, and so much more. Along the way, children will practice letter sounds, early writing, and explore new experiences together through creativity, movement, and tasty treats.

I HAVE A STORY TO TAIL YOU | JASTEN TUTTLE

Through nature walks, hands-on science, bird-inspired art, and visits to our campus “farm” avian ecosystem, children will discover feathers, beaks, songs, migration, and the important roles birds play in nature. This engaging camp fosters curiosity, independence, and a love for the outdoors—perfect for budding naturalists. Cost: $155

MESSY SUMMER ART | AMBER KULA

Campers will experience and learn how to Tie Dye, Creating their self portriat with oil pastels, creating an underwater adventure with water colors Campers will experience using different art mediums while mixing colors, Campers will also have a scavenger hunt OFMS campus collecting materials for a nature collage. This fun and exciting camp will allow young minds to explore different art mediums while having outdoor aventures on campus. Cost: $155

INTRO TO MONTESSORI | BAYLEY TIEMAN

This half-day camp from 8 AM - 1 PM is an introduction to the world of Montessori for your young child. Campers will spend the morning with an OFMS Montessori trained teacher in the prepared environment learning practical life skills and navigating the world around them.

Children will explore diverse cultures, traditions, and places through hands-on activities, art, and movement that spark curiosity and creativity. Campers build confidence and independence as they try new experiences, collaborate with peers, and express themselves in meaningful ways. Through joyful discovery and shared experiences, children develop global awareness, form new friendships, and leave with a deeper sense of wonder about our big, beautiful world.

Let's celebrate the last week of summer with the ultimate week of water-filled fun! Campers will cool off with splash games, water challenges, sponge tosses, and creative water activities designed to keep little bodies laughing and moving! Cost: $155

MAKER'S PLAYGROUND | PATSY CALDAZO

Through a balance of playful freedom and thoughtful structure, children design, build, experiment, and problem-solve—growing into confident, independent makers. With classic summer games, outdoor exploration, and a special field trip to the Leo Splashpad, campers will leave with projects they’re proud of and the mindset to keep imagining, creating, and leading long after summer ends. CHEF'S AROUND THE WORLD | HANNAH ALBRIGHT

Elementary students will roll up their sleeves and build real kitchen confidence as they learn essential skills like measuring accurately, safely using a knife, baking in the oven, and preparing recipes from start to finish. Campers will master the art of baking while creating delicious treats and exploring flavors from around the world. Through hands-on cooking and culturally inspired recipes, students gain practical life skills, global awareness, and pride in sharing the meals they create. Grades 1 - 3 | Cost: $175

FARM CAMP | SANDRA DEACON & FERNANDO FLORES

Love being outside? Come spend a week on the farm getting your hands dirty while learning how to care for animals—from chickens to cows—and discovering the basics of farming through fun, hands-on activities. Each day brings new challenges that build teamwork, responsibility, and problem-solving skills in a supportive environment. The week wraps up with a Friday field trip to Chain O’Lakes for fishing, swimming, and hiking, leaving campers with new friendships, joyful memories, and a stronger connection to animals and nature. NATURE CAMP: TINKERS IN THE WILD | AMBER COSS

Held entirely outdoors in the heart of the OFMS woods, this hands-on camp turns nature into the ultimate science lab. Campers will explore ponds and prairies while experimenting with real-world physics—building log see-saws, casting magnetic fishing poles, and discovering how science comes alive through play. With a special trip to Chain O’Lakes, students will strengthen creativity, critical thinking, cooperation, and problem-solving while deepening their connection to the natural world. THE SCIENCE OF SLEEP | CHAD SEEWALD

Ever wondered what your dreams mean, why you wake up tired, or what really happens in your brain while you sleep? Campers will explore REM cycles, sleep hygiene, dream patterns, sound and music effects, and even conduct daily polls, graphing, and selfstudies yes, that might include a nap or two! Through hands-on experiments and scientific investigation, students will gain a deeper understanding of how quality sleep impacts their brain, body, and overall well-being. Grades 4 - 6 | Cost: $160

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get a little messy in this hands-on baking adventure! Elementary campers will learn how to measure accurately, mix with confidence, and bake a variety of sweet treats like cookies, cupcakes, meringues, and more. From mastering kitchen basics to pulling golden creations from the oven, students will build skills, confidence, and a love for baking from scratch. Grades 1 - 3 | Cost: $175

NATURE CAMP: IMAGINATION & MUD PIES | AMBER COSS

Step into a world where sticks become kitchens, mud turns into masterpieces, and imagination leads the way. Held entirely outdoors in the heart of the OFMS woods, campers will build woodland villages, run forest “restaurants,” create tiny homes for real or imaginary creatures, and mix up nature soups, cakes, and potions embracing all the joyful mess along the way. A hands-on creative camp where children learn sewing and weaving skills in a smallgroup setting that allows for personalized guidance and confidence-building. Campers will create pillows, booties, and other colorful fabric projects while developing fine motor skills, patience, focus, and creative problem-solving—all balanced with outdoor play and classic summer fun. Join Art enthusiasts Leigha and Zoë for a week of creative fun! Campers will explore different art mediums each day with open ended projects that will spark their creativity, boost their confidence in making and instill a love for art! Elementary students are invited to build their game in this fun and supportive volleyball camp led by Claressa Brekke, former Middle Blocker for Berry College (2009–2013). Campers will learn and strengthen beginner to intermediate skills including serving, passing, setting, hitting, and teamwork through engaging drills and game play. This camp is designed to grow interest in the sport while helping lay the foundation for girls volleyball as a future OFMS athletic program. Grades 4 - 8 | Cost: $160 JULY 13

Join us for a meaningful week of reflection, gratitude, and joyful exploration as campers grow in understanding, character, and compassion. With a MS & HS record winning year, these OFMS basketball coaches are ready to take your game to the next level! Designed for players of all skill levels, this action-packed camp focuses on skill development, conditioning, agility, leadership, team play, and game strategy in a fun and competitive environment. This camp takes campers on an exciting global adventure exploring a new continent or region each day through crafts, music, dance, games, language, and international snacks. As they experience diverse cultures and traditions, children broaden their perspectives, try new things, and discover both the differences and shared connections that unite people around the world. This immersive week sparks curiosity, encourages lifelong learning, and nurtures global citizenship by helping campers see themselves as part of a vibrant, interconnected world. This camp invites elementary students to discover the artistry woven throughout nature on the beautiful campus of Oak Farm Montessori School. Campers will explore the woods and prairie, create natural materials like handmade watercolors and charcoal, and use the landscape as inspiration for drawing, painting, and collaborative projects. Through outdoor creativity, independent work, and shared responsibility in gathering materials, students gain a deeper appreciation for art, nature, civic mindfulness, and the powerful connection between raw resources and creative expression.

Led by professional photographer Jennifer Stevenson, this immersive camp helps adolescents develop both technical and creative photography skills. Campers will learn camera settings, composition, lighting techniques, studio versus outdoor photography, and photo editing and post-production basics to enhance and refine their images. With an off-campus field trip for new environments and opportunities to photograph school events and contribute to the yearbook, students will gain real-world experience while building a portfolio and confidence behind—and beyond—the camera.

Elementary students are invited to build their game in this fun and supportive volleyball camp led by Claressa Brekke, former Middle Blocker for Berry College (2009–2013). ACT/SAT Prep Course

This summer, Oak Farm Montessori School is offering a dynamic ACT/SAT Prep Course designed to take the stress out of standardized testing and replace it with strategy and skill. Offered in a supportive small-group setting, this two-week intensive experience includes both morning and evening options to fit busy summer schedules.

Students will go far beyond memorization as they learn how to truly navigate the test. The course will focus on:

• Proven strategies for tackling reading passages with clarity and speed

Our Math Tutoring program welcomes students working at every level — from 7th Grade Math through Calculus and from any school. Whether a student needs support mastering foundational concepts, preparing for the next school year, or tackling advanced coursework, tutoring is designed to meet them exactly where they are.

In a supportive and personalized environment, students will:

• Clarify challenging concepts and fill learning gaps

• Strengthen problem-solving strategies

• Build confidence in mathematical thinking

• Prepare for upcoming coursework or assessments

• Develop skills that support long-term success in math

Sessions are flexible and can be booked as:

• Individual Tutoring – $40/hour

• Small Group (2 students) – $35/hour per student
