REGISTRATION & PAYMENT INFORMATION Oak Farm is a place for learning and exploration; both during the school year and all summer long. Our talented staff of teachers and professionals have created interactive and engaging programs that will keep your child active, outdoors and most importantly; screen free! Camps will run June 8 - August 7, with no camp the week of July 6. All camps are Monday through Friday on the Oak Farm school campus with drop off at 8:30am and pick up at 3:30pm. Tab through the weeks at the top of the page to choose one that fits your schedule. Then find a camp that fits your child’s age and interest. Students should consider signing up for the grade level they will be entering in Fall 2020. Online camp registration will close one week before the camp start date. For example, the June 8th camps registration will close on Monday, June 1st. If you want to add your child within that one week prior to a camp starting, please contact the Summer Camp Director. PLEASE NOTE: • • • •
All camps are subject to cancellation based on enrollment. Refunds will be given for any camps cancelled the week of May 18th. All registrations are considered final and non-refundable as of May 15th, 2020. TODDLER DAY CAMPS Appropriate for ages 18 months through 3 years, MUST be a current Oak Farm toddler. TODDLER DAY CAMP FEE $155 Campers will enjoy a summer time version of their regular school day with work time, snack, community, lunch, nap, and lots of outdoor play. Children will go on walks in the woods, hikes to the gazebo and music garden, explore plants, dance to music, make crafts and splash in the water. Snack will be provided. Camper min: 5/max. 12

Adventure awaits in the big outdoors. Campers will be building forts, cooking food over a campfire, learning outdoor skills and using nature for crafts.

While exploring the different biomes of Oak Farm’s campus campers will take risks, try new activities, practice observation and listening skills, and challenge themselves through problem solving. Note: This camp will be at the Green Farmhouse.

Back by popular demand, join Heidi Stark for a week of exploration through movement and imagination. The focus will be FUN! Campers will be introduced to tools to promote peace, empathy, strength, focus, awareness, inquiry, and connectivity to all living things!

WEARABLE ART | HATTIE BAER & LEIGHA VANDEZANDE Turn yourself into a work of art, create costumes from cardboard, plastic bags, yarn and more. Create jewelry, headdresses and masks to wear! Bring a white cotton item to tie-dye. Grades 1-8 Cost: $145 SOCCER WITH RANGER ACADEMY | SAMIR HAZBIC Work with Ranger Academy coach Samir Hazbic on and off the field. Soccer enthusiasts of all skill levels will improve their fundamentals through drills, teamwork, and scrimagges. Grades 1-6 Cost: $145
ART CREATION | LEIGHA VANDEZANDE & HATTIE BAER Explore art using different mediums, such as: ceramics, painting, and printmaking. Each day will focus on one medium through multiple projects, learning different applications and techniques. Bring a shirt to screen print your very own camp t-shirt! Grades 2-6, no incoming 1st graders. Cost: $145 BASKETBALL CAMP | NEFY HATHAWAY Get prepared for the fall basketball season by building fundamental skills, learning new skills, drills and plays. FARM, FOOD & FEATHERS | SANDRA DEACON Campers will focus on setting up hens and a rooster to get fertilized eggs, building a duck pond, comparing the physical anatomy of chickens and ducks, and a trip to a hatchery...along with moving the chickens around the garden for pest control, fertilizing, etc. Grades 4-8 Cost: $140

Outdoor exploration at it’s finest! Campers from all over can to come experience Oak Farm’s rich biomes and residing flora and fauna. Campers will discover plants, animals, harvest chicken eggs, climb trees, and learn to take risks, all while learning how to protect the environment and Mother Earth. Campers will assist in shearing sheep, goats, & alpacas, clean and process the fibers, spin wool, and dye it. They will learn how to felt, fingerknit and more with our very own fibers. Grades 4-8 Cost: $140

A week of crafty fun based on some of the best things in pop culture entertainment and literature. Take a trip to Hogwarts, explore science based potion experiments, wand making and more! Campers will learn art techniques and new skills while creating in themes such as Pokemon, Captain Underpants, and Disney. Grades 1-6 Cost: $145

Campers will set up an aquaponics system in the Oak Farm greenhouse, dissect a fish, go fishing, and take a field trip to Eagle Marsh in Fort Wayne to learn more about the animal-plant relationship and nitrogen cycle. Campers should try to bring their own fishing pole. Grades 4-8 Cost: $145

STEAM! We will focus on our five senses creating sculptures that trick our ears, doing experiments to explore taste, and create art with texture. Campers will learn about how our eyes perceive light and how different animals use their sense of smell. Let’s put all our senses to use with experiments and art! Grades 2-8, no incoming 1st graders. Campers will build a shed for the pigs, dig a mudhole for the pigs, get some piglets for the farm, visit a local hog farm, cook unusual cuts from animals, render lard and build bird feeders with pine cones. Grades 4-8 Cost: $140
