Create your own Rainbow
How do you spell inclusion and love? Toddler 1 students spell it in a colorful sign language message of peace. A template was used to allow students to paint the ombre rainbow pattern you see in the finished piece. Funds from this project may be directed towards purchasing new sensorial materials for the classroom.
404 Toddler 2
Anchors Away
Provide a perfect spot for your child to work when you take home this set of table and chairs. Students practiced fine motor skills by cutting strips of colorful paper that were decoupaged into the anchor themed top. This set will allow your child to build, color, eat and more as they 'navigate' through their important work. Funds from this project may be directed towards expanding the Toddler 2 classroom library.
405 Primary 1
Food for thought
Bring your child's favorite stories to life with this trio of books and mixes. Each book by Laura Numeroff comes with a jar containing a mix for the corresponding theme; If you give a Moose a Muffin, If you give a Cat a Cupcake, and If you give a Mouse a Cookie. Read the story and then head to the kitchen to whip up your own version of the delicious treat! Students followed recipes to measure and fill ingredients into each of the jars. Funds from this project will us expand our language area and increase our book selection for our varying student reading levels.
406 Primary 2
Let's get Cooking!
Light up your child's eyes and provide practical life practice when you bring home this retro styled kitchenette. The matte white finish with champagne handles will compliment any play space. Students in Primary 2 used fine motor skills to help assemble the kitchen and gross motor skills to tie dye the accompanying hand towels that can be used for endless hours of imaginative work. Funds from this project will help with Field Day expenses and our Kindergarten end of the year trip!
407 Primary 3
You are my Sunshine!
Your mood will never be gray when you add this joy inducing project created by the students of Primary 3. This classical song is a favorite at community and cubby time, so it was incorporated into a visual representation of each child's vision of the sun! Brighten the life of someone special when you hang this ray of sunshine on your wall. Funds from this project will help Primary 3 purchase new tricycles and balance bikes!
408 Primary 4
Peaceful points
With its grand circular symbol of peace taking center stage, this repurposed pencil creation was built by Primary 4 and the many hands of primary children over the last 10 years as they colored maps, insets and art! Give peace a chance... With funds from this project, Primary 4 hopes to purchase expansion materials for our Language and Math curriculum.
409 Lower Elementary 1
Nature Connections
When is a photo not a photo? When you let the sun 'develop' the image! Students in Lower 1 gathered plant and flower varieties from all around campus and placed them on Cyanotype (sun paper) to process the print. Each example was then matted and collectively framed to create a 'window' into the beauty of our campus. With funds from this project, Lower Elementary 1 hopes to supplement our end of the year classroom trip.
503 Upper Elementary
Inspirational Peaks
While many of us think of a shim as a wedge, students in Upper Elementary used these wooden spacers to create peaks of inspiration. The sharp angular features could represent snowy mountain caps, a contemporary argyle pattern or modern topographical map. (better yet, choose your own interpretation!) Each student sanded their shim and then either painted or stained the individual contribution. This unique framed artwork shows that collaboration divides the task and multiplies the beauty.
504 Middle School
Felted Pebbles
Mimic a day at the beach without leaving your home with this hand felted wool rug. Each middle school student carefully crafted a pebble or two from wool sheared from the farm sheep. This unique piece is not only beautiful, but it is symbolic of the community knitted together through their care of the animals and each other. The students helped design the layout, sew on the backing and signed their names for posterity.

Tricked out Table
Even if you don't know where the Derailleur is on a bike, you can appreciate the 'Wow' factor this bike console table will add to your home. Our high school students repurposed an old bike, stripped it down, cleaned her up and turned it into a statement piece. Whether you decide to use the Red Oak table top to stash your keys in a dish, outfit a full functioning bar or just display your favorite books, you will find yourself coasting into compliments!
