Suppliers’ Day 2026 Welcome Letter from the Chair …Anushka Nadkarni, 2026 NYSCC Chair

he anticipation is real! I am very much looking forward to welcoming you to our largest, most dynamic, and most forward-looking Suppliers’ Day to date. Starting May 19th, the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center becomes the global meeting place for cosmetic science, ingredient innovation, product development, and meaningful industry connection. It is where scientists, suppliers, brands, entrepreneurs, and future leaders come together not only to discover what is new, but to help define what comes next. Our theme, “Breaking Beauty Boundaries with Science,” reflects the extraordinary evolution taking place across beauty and personal care. Science is no longer simply supporting innovation—it is transforming how beauty is conceived, formulated, experienced, and delivered. From biotechnology and advanced ingredient engineering to sensory science, skin longevity, personalization, wellness, and inclusive product design, scientific advancement is expanding performance while opening entirely new possibilities for our industry. You will see this spirit of innovation reflected everywhere throughout this year’s Suppliers’ Day. With nearly 700 exhibitors and the largest exhibit floor in our show’s history, Suppliers’ Day offers an unparalleled showcase of new ingredients, technologies, services, and formulation solutions from around the world. Complementing the activity on the floor are more than 100 hours of scientific, technical, and marketing education—truly bringing “from formula to finish” to life. Among this year’s new educational highlights are K-Beauty Innovation, Sensory Science, Biodesigned Care, and IFSCC Presents: Where Cosmetic Science Is Going Next. We offer a strong international and regulatory perspective through programs led by PCPC, IKW, EFfCI, SOCMA, and CACPA. Returning favorites include Discover Sustainability, Fragrance: The Invisible Art, World of Chemistry, and NYSCC Scientific Committee tracks on DermaBeauty, Hair and Scalp Care, and Microbiome Science. Idea Ignition, our new Main Stage series, spotlights emerging concepts and market-shaping conversations, including Skinformation vs. Misinformation, Color Science, Formulating for Vitality, Designing for a Nature-Wired Brain, CEW’s Innovators Panel, and discussions on the digital marketplace, contract manufacturing, biotech in beauty, and the personal care value chain. Beyond the classroom, Suppliers’ Day offers immersive show-floor experiences designed to inspire discovery and connection. New this year is Catalyst Corner, spotlighting disruptive thinking and emerging ideas, alongside the returning INDIE 360°, Inspiration Hive, and the Formulators’ Tour, a guided exploration of beauty powered by plant life. We are also excited to record our new podcast, The Science Shaping Beauty, directly from the show floor. The Main Stage keynote presentations bring influential brand perspectives to the forefront. We are honored to welcome leadership from Supergoop! and L’Oréal Groupe to share how research, innovation, and strategic thinking are shaping the future of beauty. Suppliers’ Day also celebrates excellence across the industry through the Ingredient Maverick Awards, the INDIE 360 People’s Choice Award, and the reveal of the CEW Supplier’s Beauty Award Finalists at the NYSCC Industry Awards Night on May 19th at the Hard Rock Cafe. Equally important is our commitment to the next generation through the expanded two-day Future Chemists Workshop, University (continued on Page 2) Row, Career Fair, and mentorship initiatives. This Week of Beauty also includes pre-event SCC CEP courses, a
