Jacqueline Newman is the managing partner of the matrimonial law firm, Berkman Bottger Newman & Rodd, LLP. Ms. Newman’s practice consists of litigation, collaborative law and mediation. Amy practices all aspects of family and matrimonial law matters. Before entering private practice, Amy worked on behalf of domestic abuse victims as a supervisor in Westchester/Putnam Legal Services and was the founding attorney of the legal project of the Rockland Family Shelter. Amy was an associate at Cohen Goldstein & Silpe LLP before starting her own firm in 2003. Amy received her J.D. from CUNY School of Law and also an M.S. in special education from Hunter College. She is an officer of WBASNY and a director of NYWBA and is active in the NYC Bar Association and Sanctuary for Families.
