MISE is a chef-driven, full-service catering experience founded on the philosophy of mise en place — the belief that thoughtful preparation is the foundation of a seamless, elevated event. Designed for everything from intimate dinners to immersive brand activations and large-scale gatherings, MISE approaches catering as an extension of the overall experience, where food, atmosphere, and flow are intentionally aligned.

Each event is executed with precision, adaptability, and care, pairing globally inspired, seasonally driven menus with refined presentation and understated hospitality. Through close collaboration with clients, venues, and production teams, MISE delivers experiences that feel immersive, effortless, and memorable — where every detail has purpose and nothing is left to chance.

DANNY ELMALEH

Chef Danny Elmaleh is a Los Angeles based chef celebrated for blending his Moroccan, Japanese, and Mediterranean heritage into vibrant, modern cuisine. A passionate storyteller through food, Danny’s cooking embodies his multicultural heritage and is the inspiration behind his new catering venture, MISE by Chef Danny Elmaleh.

Growing up between Israel and Japan, Danny developed a deep appreciation for food as a reflection of culture and daily life.

Born to a Moroccan father and Japanese mother, Danny was immersed in two rich culinary traditions from an early age. His father, a chef and restaurateur, introduced him to mediterranean flavors, while his mother prepared Japanese classics and mastered Moroccan recipes passed down through generations. He speaks english, Japanese, and Hebrew fluently, a reflection of his multicultural upbringing and worldview.
