The Manchester Beth Din hereby announces that , with effect from 1 June 2026, all Meat products manufactured and distributed by Gilbert ’s Kosher Foods will no longer be under the supervision or certification of the Manchester Beth Din.
This includes products from the following brands: Gilberts, Blooms, Chicago Finest , Chicago Best , and Eden Gourmet (Meat rolls, sausages, pressed beef, and turkey products),
Products manufactured before 1 June 2026 will remain under our supervision, and this will be clearly indicated on the packaging. Products manufactured after this date will be certified by another kosher agency
All parev products will remain supervised and certified by the Manchester Beth Din.

After extensive consultation with senior Dayonim and Rabbonim, CST is proud to announce that it is forming a CST Kehilla Division under the authority of the London Beis Din.
The purpose of the division is to enable enhanced security on Shabbos and Yom Tov, whilst conforming to the halachic standards laid down by the Beis Din. The division will not only strengthen security in the Kehilla but also improve community cohesion and work in partnership with other communal organisations.
The Kehilla Division will operate strictly in accordance with the halachic framework set out by the London Beis Din .
CST as a wider organisation enjoys a positive relationship with the London Beis Din and will continue to liaise with the LBD as to guidance for the wider community.
