February proved to be a month of profound significance at our campus, marked by events that resonated with themes of advocacy, empowerment, and kindness. From commemorating the lives of missing and murdered Indigenous women to fostering a culture of inclusivity and support, the month was rich with impactful initiatives that brought our community together.

On February 14, our campus stood in solidarity with the families of missing and murdered Indigenous women (MMIW) through a meaningful march. Simultaneous marches took place in both Vancouver and Merritt, drawing staff and students alike to show their support. The presence of our community members at these marches underscored our commitment to standing with Indigenous families and advocating for justice and awareness surrounding this critical issue.
