This is an exciting opportunity for every associate to take a class of their choice, from several sessions covering over 40 different subjects! These classes offer everything from personal and professional growth opportunities to field trips and “how-to” food classes. Top leaders from our company, as well as select partners, have come together to offer a wide variety of courses and subjects to satisfy any interest.
We are excited to announce our 9th Return to Learn event will be taking place over two separate weeks: Monday, May 11th – Friday, May 15th and Monday, June 8th – Friday, June 12th . This is an excellent opportunity for associates to learn about the “why” behind what we do here at Nugget Market, Inc.
Return to Learn gives you the opportunity to attend a class of your choice, get paid for attending that class, and be reimbursed for travel time and mileage. You are encouraged to browse the course catalog, read the brief summaries of each class, and then select the classes that interest you most. Classes should fit with your availability. To accommodate the wants and needs of every associate, we ask that you select your top three choices. Each session has a unique class code—be sure to mark it down! We will do our best to ensure that every associate is assigned to one of their top choices.
It’s okay to hurry! The sign-up period begins Friday, April 10th , and ends on Monday, April 20th, during which time you will have the opportunity to log on to a store desktop or tablet using your associate number and phone number. Once logged in, you can select your top three classes which are organized into a drop-down menu by class code number. You have ten days to sign up, and classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t wait!
We are very excited to be able to provide this unique opportunity to our associates, and all our instructors are looking forward to sharing their knowledge with you.
Please note: Classes are scheduled shifts! Keep in mind our global expectation to communicate to your store leader if you are unable to attend your class once scheduled. This event is for associates only; other guests will not be permitted to attend.
