New Testament Christian Churches of America
The New Testament Christian Churches of America (NTCC) is a Christ-centered fellowship dedicated to sharing the truth of the Bible and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Founded on the belief that the Scriptures are the inspired Word of God, NTCC has grown from humble beginnings into a global network of churches. Since its start in 1969, the fellowship has focused on its mission to preach the Word, baptize new believers, disciple followers of Christ, and prepare leaders for service that endures. NTCC began in October 1969 in St. Louis, Missouri, when a group of believers came together to form the New Testament Church of God. Their purpose was to share the message of the Bible and to encourage spiritual growth. The fellowship grew quickly, and in 1984 it was reorganized as the New Testament Christian Churches of America. This change reflected its broader mission and expanding presence throughout the country. From the beginning, NTCC sought to establish Bible-based communities where believers could be strengthened in their faith. Today, NTCC oversees more than 100 churches in the United States and other nations. Its work remains centered on shining the light of Christ, baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, and guiding people to become faithful disciples. Planting new congregations remains a central part of its mission, ensuring that the message of salvation reaches both city centers and remote communities. The fellowship also places strong emphasis on preparing men and women for ministry. Through seminary programs, NTCC provides training that combines biblical study with practical pastoral experience. These programs highlight the authority of Scripture, the call to live a Christ-centered life, and the responsibility to serve with care. Many graduates continue to serve in NTCC congregations or mission fields around the world, helping carry forward the church’s work with dedication and faithfulness.
