Campfire Banana Boats

A simple, customizable campfire dessert that’s always a hit with kids and adults alike.

Welcome to Valhalla Pure North Vancouver

INGREDIENTS

4 bananas (leave the peel on) 1 cup mini marshmallows 1 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate ½ cup graham cracker crumbs or crushed graham crackers

Your trailhead to the wild! Locally owned, mountain obsessed, and here to help you gear up for the good stuff — hiking, climbing, camping, skiing, and exploring wild places. We know the trails, we love the gear, and we’re stoked to help you get outside.

Optional toppings: Peanut butter chips, Caramel sauce, Strawberries or raspberries, Coconut flakes, Toffee bits, Mini peanut butter cups

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Prepare the bananas - Without removing the peel, cut a slit lengthwise along the inside curve of each banana. Gently open the slit to create a pocket, being careful not to cut all the way through.

Swing by Valhalla and let the adventure begin.

2. Fill the banana boats - Stuff the pocket with marshmallows, chocolate chips, and any additional toppings you like. 3. Wrap in foil - Wrap each banana tightly in aluminum foil. 4. Cook over the campfire - Place the foil packets on a grill grate over hot coals or on the edge of the fire. Cook for 5–10 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the chocolate is melted and the marshmallows are gooey. 5. Serve - Carefully open the foil and eat directly from the peel with a spoon
