Heading into the school year

The Selwyn District Council-organised event attracted around 1,000 bears and their owners for what four-year-old Ella Higgins described as the best day of her life. Charlotte Gaunson, speaking for the council, said a sunny day provided the opportunity for an outdoor picnic under perfect conditions.
