p Tangowahine School had a fundraising mufti day last Wednesday to support the Cancer Society’s Daffodil Day. Children dressed in vibrant yellows or floral attire, some adorning fun costumes, and did activities suited for the day like making paper daffodils. The staff also took part in the fun by wearing yellow ensembles. The school raised $131 for the appeal, a cause close to many people’s hearts. “It was a great day and wonderful to support this worthy cause that affects many in the community,” said organiser Samantha Taylor.
