The initiative is supported by Silver Fern, Rebel Sport and the Tania Dalton Foundation. “We are thrilled to have an injection of sports gear into our school. It saves an already stretched budget as funds can be diverted elsewhere,” said principal Kylie Piper. “As a school, we are always grateful to those community-minded organisations who support our school as they realise that our government funding does not always stretch far enough. As the cost of living continues to increase, the needs in our school also increase. Children love getting new gear — it motivates them to play and be more active.”
