Community members take part in an early morning Silent Walk, April 4, arranged by U.S. Naval Hospital Naples around the Support Site to increase awareness and prevention of sexual assault during Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The silence during the walk was used to represent the silence many victims suffer. Other events include free self-defense classes April 17 and 24 at noon at the Capo Fit Zone, as well as victim advocate training, a 5k run, and a candlelight vigil at dusk outside the Support Site Chapel April 30.
