COMMUNICATION DAILY SHOWCASE NEWSLETTER Each day at 9:00 a.m. we send out our DAILY SHOWCASE NEWSLETTER, containing details of all the activities planned for a given day of the festival. Inside you will find the password for the performances and active links to meetings on the ZOOM platform.
All you need to do is visit the calendar and find the correct date in order to access information about events planned for that particular date. Move your cursor over the given event, click and you will find yourself in the correct place in our virtual space.
If you are not receiving our newsletters, please check your SPAM folder. If our messages are not there either — write to us at showcase@nowyteatr.org or else directly to Karolina who is responsible for communication in this year's edition: karolina.wajman@nowyteatr.org. We'll get it fixed!

ACTIVITIES PERFORMANCES

Every performance will be screened on our Vimeo channel and the Nowy Teatr webpage. The video will be protected by a password, which you will receive in the DAILY SHOWCASE NEWSLETTER before the festival day begins. Performances will be accessible for viewing for 24 hours, after this time, recordings will no longer be available for viewing. The time of the broadcast is found in the official programme Generation After 4. Showcase: WWW.
Exceptions prove the rules. The special master performance of Capri — The Island of Fugitives — directed by Krystian Lupa, will be shown in slightly different circumstances.

The link to the Saturday show will be made available directly by the Powszechny Theatre team and arrive in your mailbox outside of the regular DAILY SHOWCASE NEWSLETTER mailings. ACTIVITIES TALKS
GUIDED TOURS
We have planned three debates as part of GA: WWW. Each debate will be live on ZOOM — active links to the meetings will be added to our DAILY SHOWCASE NEWSLETTER. Your camera and microphone will initially be blocked by the administrator. The last few minutes of each debate will be reserved solely for audience discussions. Questions can be asked using the platform chat facility visible to all participants, or else by using the RAISE HAND option. In the latter case, the administrator of each event will allow you to speak by unlocking your camera and microphone. We will be recording the debates – for posterity!
Virtual tours organised by local players will take place each day. Using the ZOOM platform, we will visit a variety of Warsaw’s cultural institutions. The tours will be streamed live online, making each event completely unique. Active links to the events will be added to our DAILY SHOWCASE NEWSLETTER. Administrators will once again block cameras and microphones — the tour guides will be in charge! DURATION: 10-20 minutes

ACTIVITIES 1 ON 1 CONFAB We have two types of one-on-one meetings: discussions with institutions, which take place on Saturdays, and conversations with artists, which take place on Sundays. Events begin at 11:00 a.m. and last for 15 minutes. It is necessary to register for these — places are limited. Participants registered for events the day before will receive a link to the ZOOM platform. This will be an email outside of the DAILY SHOWCASE NEWSLETTER, addressed directly to the email account registered earlier. By clicking the event link you will be taken to a so-called waiting room. The event host will allow you in at the agreed time. Please DO NOT BE LATE — 15 minutes may not sound like a lot, but a great deal can happen in that time!
In order to properly prepare for meetings, please install the ZOOM application on your computer, check your internet connection, camera and microphone. Set yourself up in a brightly lit, quiet space without additional persons, animals or sources of noise present. Each event will be monitored by a hidden administrator. They will keep time, helping where necessary, but will not be listening in! These meetings will not be recorded. DURATION: 15 minutes

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION In order to avoid technical problems during the festival, install the ZOOM application on your personal computer, check your internet connection, camera and microphone. Set yourself up in a brightly lit, quiet space without additional persons, animals or sources of potential noise present.
The host will tend to control the status of your camera and microphone. In some cases, however, you too can control whether you want to make your images and sounds available. The camera and microphone icons will help you in this — they are found on the lower strip of the desktop. Don't be afraid of using these during the debate!
How best to join in or report a problem when the microphones are turned off? • If the host is controlling the participants' microphones, the person who wants to say something should raise their hand. To do so, click the button marked RAISE HAND. It is found on the desktop in the right-hand lower corner, below the list of participants. The person who wants to decline being involved can click the hand icon marked LOWER HAND. • CHAT is another option for us to communicate. You will find the icon which opens the chat function on the lower control strip. Remember that it is accessible and visible to all participants.
