Through an identityparade and adeepdiveintothe group’sModus Operandi, Thulo waslinkedtosix incidents of housebreakingand robberyoccurring between2011 and 2019.

Appearinginthe Virginia Regional Courton7May, Thulo was found guilty.

Workingalongside Prosecutor CharmaineLabuschagne,the team securedasentence where Thulo will serveaneffective10 yearsofa38-yeartotalimprisonmentterm.

While theseconvictions mark a majorvictoryfor justice in the Free State, the SAPS Provincial SECI unit emphasises that the work is notyet complete.

Thededicated team,led by Ntholeng, is still pursuingseveral suspects linkedtothis syndicate who remain at large. TheSAPSremains committedto ensuring that allmembers of this criminal networkare broughtto book.
