Slow down, stitch up, give back
In a world often defined by fast-paced living, one woman has chosen to slow down, stitch by stitch, to make a difference. Rotarian Ann Roshni Karsan has turned her passion for knitting into an annual mission of compassion, creating beanies to bring warmth to those who need it most. According to the Rotary Club communications director, Leo Doria, Karsan handed over 120 beanies this year to the Rotary Club of Uitenhage South, each one personally hand-knitted, to be distributed among the community’s most vulnerable.
