Another accolade for Framesby swimmer When she was 15, she had the distinction of being Team SA’s first gold medallist in the pool at the Region 5 Games in Malawi. Now, three years after being tossed in the deep end, Katie Horne, a matric learner at Framesby High School, brought home one gold, one silver and two bronze medals after competing at the Africa Aquatics junior championship in Egypt earlier this month.
