Help us give back Staff from EP Media are teaming up with Community Chest this year for a Mandela Day project at Heatherbank Primary School in Theescombe. A non-profit Christian school that currently educates around 280 children from Pre-Grade R to Grade 7, most of whom reside in Walmer Township, Heatherbank relies on donor support for infrastructure, transport and educational resources. On Friday, 17 July, a number of volunteers, including EP Media staff, will mobilise to uplift the school through fresh coats of paint, building a safe playground, donations, planting trees and a vegetable garden, and more. We are calling on the community to give us a helping hand with donations of school stationery, sports equipment, printing paper, food, fans, toilet paper, cleaning materials, black bags, children’s books, rubber flooring, etc. Any and all donations are welcome and can be dropped off until 16 July at the ‘PE Express’ office at the Novus Print premises, Ivor Benn Close, Fairview.
