Initiative takes root in Bethelsdorp Young volunteers from ASEZ WAO, the young adult worker volunteer group of the World Mission Society Church of God, took part in a tree-planting initiative in Bethelsdorp on 10 May, as part of the organisation’s global “Mother’s Forest” project aimed at addressing climate change. Ward 35 councillor, Noeleen Moodley, praised the project, saying the trees would benefit residents, particularly during summer when additional shade is needed in public spaces.
