Robotics rookies reign supreme Paul Sauer High School’s robotics team, the HPS Circuit Breakers, won the prestigious Champion’s Award at their first FIRST LEGO League Challenge regional tournament on 1 November 2025 at Nelson Mandela University, Gqeberha. Remarkably, the team achieved this success using only the basic LEGO robot kit whilst competing against teams with advanced builds and extensive experience. Their victory has secured qualification for the FIRST LEGO League South Africa National Championship in the Western Cape on 5 and 6 December 2025.
