Braving the icy plunge for NSRI Ninety-two participants across four swim shifts braved the cold ocean at Jeffreys Bay’s Main Beach on Tuesday, 1 September, in the second annual Polar Bear Plunge. Pictured is the sunrise shift, where swimmers took to the water at 06:38 in 13-degree conditions to kick off the day’s plunges. The event, organised by Rian Grobler, once again brought the town’s swimming and fitness community together in support of NSRI Jeffreys Bay, with donations going towards the local rescue organisation.
