NOUSHIN DELFANY, 2025
Noushin Delfany is an Iranian artist and gallery manager based in Tehran. With an M.A. in Art Studies, her work focuses on identity, resilience, and transformation, particularly through depictions of women. She has exhibited internationally in Paris, London, Boston, and Istanbul. Delfany’s art, spanning painting, mixed media, and installation, often draws from mythology and social movements. Her latest series reimagines Medusa as a symbol of female strength, inspired by contemporary women’s resistance in Iran. Alongside her artistic practice, she manages Falaah Gallery, curating exhibitions and fostering artistic dialogue.

This project explores women's collective strength, resilience, and transformation in the face of oppression. Inspired by the myth of Medusa—once seen as a monster but now reclaimed as a symbol of resistance—it connects to the Woman, Life, Freedom movement in Iran.
