Experience the forest through an Indigenous lens on Talaysay Tours' renowned Talking Trees Walking Tour. Guided by Indigenous Cultural Ambassadors, you'll learn how the plants and trees of the Coast Salish territories have sustained communities for generations through food, medicine, and culture. The journey continues with a reflective session led by Kitty RLynn Lickers and members of the Nourish Indigenous and Allies Advisory, exploring Indigenous foodways, relationships to land, and pathways toward Truth and Reconciliation.

You’ll learn directly from those advancing food justice, reducing food waste, strengthening community food hubs, and creating new partnerships between health care and local food systems.
