SECOND SEMESTER SLUMP By Lubianca Gaitan Senior, Editor-in-Chief As the end of the year draws near, many students find themselves stuck in a second semester slump: a drop in motivation that makes even simple assignments feel exhausting. Between heavier workloads, looming AP exams, college stress, and the temptation of summer break, staying focused becomes a real challenge. “I’m really worn out,” admits Jonathan Medrano, a junior. “The workload is getting a little easier. APs are coming around and it’s stressful. Still, it’s okay because summer is near.
