BELOW ARE UPDATES ON OUR WORK.
We are, again, overwhelmed by the generosity of our friends, family, alums, and supporters. We were hoping to raise $3,000 in one day to match our $3,000 anonymous donation. This was an effort to support our Notre Dame Sisters in Eastern Europe housing, clothing, and volunteering for refugees from Ukraine. Including the match, we raised $20,000 in a little more than a day! This response is incredible, and we cannot thank you all enough. How are Notre Dame Sisters caring for Ukrainian refugees? The Sisters in the Czech Republic are housing refugees from Ukraine. After Mass on the feast of St. Joseph, Ukrainian refugees prepared their specialty foods and a concert, “Light for the Ukraine,” was held in the chapel of the Sisters. In Slovakia, which is on the border of Ukraine, Sisters house and care for 13 refugees. They also welcome refugees crossing into Slovakia, offering information on local services. Sisters in small towns help provide food and clothing. Others are donating weeks of their time working at the Ukrainian border with volunteers. We look forward to sending updates in the coming weeks and months about how this support is affecting Ukrainian families and our Sisters who serve them.
Save the Date! Enjoy a reunion at Notre Dame Housing (previously Notre Dame Academy) Saturday, September 10. We will offer Mass at 3PM, class photos at 4 PM, and at 4:15 PM, tours of the building and refreshments with light appetizers.

We pray for mothers who struggle with providing comfort and hope and the daily basic necessities for their families. We ask you to bless women who generously assist the less fortunate as they respond to the unmet needs within our global family. We pray for women who are suffering personally with health issues or with racism, gender issues, and other societal injustices. We pray for mothers who now rejoice and share Eternal Life and for those among us who grieve and mourn their passing.
