What We Do Founded in 1997 by the Notre Dame Sister’s, Notre Dame Housing, Inc. NDH serves seniors 55+ and recognizes there is a shortage of senior housing in our community and treats all seniors equally. NDH provides housing and supportive services to low-to-moderate income seniors through a unique combination of services that change the way we think about housing, health, eradicating poverty and bringing about self-sufficiency, changing the landscape of impoverished communities, one senior at a time. Our Mission To provide service-enriched affordable housing, fostering independence and dignity. Our Vision To create community that provides older adults with the resources to maintain a safe, comfortable, and self-sufficient lifestyle. Our Purpose To provide service-enriched affordable housing to low-to-moderate income seniors. What Sets Us Apart Most older adults prefer to age in place in their own homes. Access to healthcare services, providers, home and community-based services, transportation, and affordable and appropriate housing are needed to meet the needs of these older adults. Since 1997, Notre Dame Housing has been transforming the aging experience for lowincome seniors in Omaha, NE. Our innovative approach to providing wrap-around services helps seniors remain healthy and independent. We are the only senior serving organization in Omaha, that provides such a broad base of vital services to a vulnerable, at-risk population of older adults. Both law schools accept a limited number of cases only. Clients are represented by law students under the supervision of Law School faculty.
