There will be a future where all youth who desire to experience producing music will have the opportunity. There will be no barriers to what, how, why or when they create the music they desire. Music and the freedom to express themselves will be the catalyst that helps them discover an identity and a path.
Notes for Notes will be the first door they walk through in every community that embraces their desire to begin a musical journey. The studio is the environment, music is the tool, and our focus is helping them build CONFIDENCE, CREATIVITY, COMPASSION, COMMITMENT AND COMMUNITY that will prepare them for whatever path they choose.

NOTES FOR NOTES® is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing youth with completely FREE ACCESS to music instruments, instruction and recording studio environments so that music may become a profoundly positive experience in their lives.
NOTES FOR NOTES® are packed with guitars, drums, keys/ synths, DJ gear, digital music stations and professional recording gear offering youth completely FREE ACCESS to explore, create, and record music. Located inside Boys & Girls Clubs and after-school centers in underserved areas around the country, every studio is staffed by a N4N team member. These producers educate, encourage, and listen to each youth member to help them be their best selves, both personally and artistically.

PRODUCER PROFILE
JOSH GRAY , born in Evanston IL, is a selftaught producer, engineer, and songwriter who moved to LA in 2015. He works with Notes for Notes, guiding youth at Mar Vista Gardens while drawing from past experiences with artists like Westside Boogie, Blxst, and Rhythm + Flow.

ARTIST PROFILE
RICARDO aka VIPER is a gifted producer who, with only an iPhone and FL Studio Mobile, recreates intricate tracks from video games, hip hop, and rock. Beyond remakes, he’s explored many genres, releasing instrumental projects and a collab with former N4N artist Redscaled. Recently, he earned the National Fine Arts Music award.
