Mat plays drums in local band Duende. He is incredibly passionate and disciplined, and it shows in his playing. Youth watched him perform then engaged in a QnA with him, where he informed them on what it’s like to gig, how he warms up, and how they can get started on an instrument themselves.
Cousteau is a dear friend of Bret, a talented musician, and actually used to attend this Boys & Girls Club as a youth! A big metalhead and talented vocalist, I convinced him to come in and give demonstrations on extreme vocals. He performed a song and educated youth on how to do so with proper technique.
