OCS and Soundtrap
Olivia and Rachel are Navy Yard’s newest members! They are interested in all genres of music and you can see them here jamming to their favorite pop songs! We’re looking forward to having them in all summer!
At N4N Digital, Soundtrap has been such an asset for our youth. We have been using this web-app for over a year with tremendous success not only in production and composition, but also in the ability to teach music theory and instrument performance. This summer, we’ve had the opportunity to teach digitally at Orange County Schools, North Carolina using Soundtrap as our main tool!

This summer at Notes for Notes Digital, we have implemented one of the most unique and accessible music programs into our second public school district, Orange County, North Carolina. This June, we tackled the first half the curriculum by getting the class situated with being creative with Soundtrap and exploring all the program has to offer. Russell’s class excelled beyond expectations, with over 30 soundtrap sessions created, and many of them completed to the students’ satisfaction. Here, through a combination of voice and text chat, we can be seen going over some of the finer details of a record on a Soundtrap session while discussing as a group collaboratively ideas that could augment or enhance the production in any way!
