There will be a future where all youth who desire to experience producing music will have the opportunity. There will be no barriers to what, how, why or when they create the music they desire. Music will be the catalyst that helps them discover an identity and a path. Notes for Notes will be the first door they walk through in every community that embraces their desire to begin a musical journey. The studio is the environment, music is the tool, and our focus is helping them build Confidence, Creativity, Compassion, and Community that will prepare them for whatever path they choose.
Notes for Notes® is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing youth with completely FREE access to music instruments, instruction and recording studio environments so that music may become a profoundly positive experience in their lives.
Notes for Notes Studios are packed with guitars, drums, keys/synths, DJ gear, digital music stations and professional recording gear offering youth completely FREE access to explore, create, and record music. Located inside Boys & Girls Clubs and after-school centers in underserved areas around the country, every studio is staffed by a N4N team member. These producers educate, encourage, and listen to each youth member to help them be their best selves, both personally and artistically. The partnership with GCS Arts (Guilford County School District) in Greensboro, NC will be N4N’s first studio inside a public school providing NEW in school programming + after-school/ summer access to explore, create and record music for FREE. N4N is currently remote teaching N4N Digital Programming directly with students in GCS eLearning University Prep.
